@arthurscott446711 ай бұрын
You do not have to go into the past to enjoy this music,it will always be there,just because we get older doesn't mean we can't travel back in time in our hearts and minds and bring up vivid memories of our youth. My wife ,God rest her soul,when asked how old she was ,would reply," I'm 16 and I'm going through my second child hood ,and I'll never grow up," she honored this until the day the Lord Jesus called her home. So stay young at heart and don't ever let anyone say to you " act your age" So enjoy this music, and always stay forever young. BECAUSE LIFE is very short . GOD BLESS YOU.

In 1986, I was "between wives" and fell desperately in love with Kathy S. We spent many hours together, but never had sex. She was married. She almost left him for me, but I asked her, "What if, in a year, you realize you made a mistake?" I couldn't bring myself to even think about making her unhappy. I recontacted her some 30 years later, and she remembered the times we had together fondly. I'm in a happy marriage with another loving woman, but still think of her often. She spent her years married to someone she was happy with. I don't regret it, but I still have feelings for her. I wish her nothing but the best.

These songs were made when people had a great respect for life, and almost everyone wanted to live more affectionately, which is why I believe we had so many great songs back in the day!

My wife and I used to slow dance to this song in the early 70s. It was one of her favorites . The Angels called her home in 1997 after 30 years of marriage . I still play this for her on my cell phone when I visit her resting place. Im 76 now so before long we will be together again . Thank you for this timeless song .

Im 63 years old. I agree we were so blessed to live in the 70s. The best music just a totally different time. We didnt quite know how good we had at least we got the memories. I would not take nothing for those days. We didnt have alot of money,but we had alot fun

I remember this song since I was 5 or 6, 47 years later, it's still solid ! Plus, they don't make songs like they use too. These 80s age like fine wine❤. Merry Christmas, everyone from me in Saipan.

An Albert Hammond song, but the Hollies nailed it, better than the original even. Saw them live back in 1980, they have an amazing catalogue of hits and this was my mums favourite, so it has to be good !
