MARTY! I am FINALLY “getting IT!”. I have to again, say THANK YOU! I LOVE YOUR STYLE OF TEACHING. (I only can do free lessons, fixed income old lady,) but YOUR free lessons are TRULY THE BEST. NO ONE ELSES COMPARE. Not even CLOSE. YOU play just enough in the beginning, and then don’t BULLSHIT about how “you hear it being played,” or “why it has to be this way to be correct.” You dumb it down just enough so we don’t feel DUMB. HONESTLY, I freaking love you man. Forget dreaming of meeting Alice Cooper or any other “rockstar “. YOU are my rockstar! And I’d be happy to meet you before I die! Keep them coming man…I’ve got 100x further with your lessons, in 3 months; than I have in literally 44 years of “trying “. ***Hot Blooded…someday, please and ty!

Alan Clarke the lead singer played this riff and recorded the song by himself, thinking it would only be an album cut. When the record label released it as a single, it went to #2 in the USA. Unfortunately, Alan Clarke had left the Hollies for a solo career and wasn't able to capitalize on it with the group.
