This from Wikipedia- Eric Bazilian told the Chicago Tribune in 1985 that he didn't know the meaning of the song despite having written it. "People ask us what it's about ... the weird thing is we didn't consciously put [the heavy stuff] there."[2] Hyman later told Songfacts that the biblical images, including Moses and Noah, were not part of any agenda, though some radio stations refused to play it. +rowdymax1 Hmm. Too bad you know nothing of US history. The only thing our founding fathers hated worse than monarchy was corporations. The Boston Tea Party? Not so much a rebellion against England as it was a rebellion against a corporation--the East India Company. All the tea was theirs. "No taxation without representation?" it was about corporations having enough influence to have Parliament enact a law--the Tea tax--while the colonies had no vote at all. the "anti 1 percenters" were a lot more patriotic than I imagine you are. The US only granted 7 corporate charters in the first 15 years of our country. That's how much they were despised. Then came Manifest Destiny. and as for 'poopy pants?" You're right wing hero Ted Nugent wore the same pants for 30 days and then pooped in them so he could avoid the draft. And molested young girls. Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Got ask to go to see TheHooters in 1985 in Springfield Il. They opened up for Loverboy. Listened to their music on radio, just didn't know what to expect. Got 11th row on the main floor and got to see two bands that sounded exactly like their albums. No added or left out words, beat count right on, no extra rifts just like it sounded on the radio. All I can say is we sang and we danced and we were loving every minute of it!

Holy Moses met the Pharaoh Yeah, he tried to set him straight Looked him in the eye, let my people go Holy Moses on a mountain High above the golden calf Went to get the Ten Commandments Yeah, he's just gonna break them in half All you zombies hide your faces All you people in the street All you sittin' in high places The pieces gonna fall on you No one ever spoke to Noah They all laughed at him instead Working on his ark, working all by himself Only Noah saw it coming Forty days and forty nights Took his sons and daughters with him Yeah, they were the Israelites All you zombies hide your faces All you people in the street All you sittin' in high places The rain's gonna fall on you Holy Father, what's the matter Where have all your children gone Sitting in the dark, living all by themselves You don't have to hide anymore All you zombies show your faces All you people in the street All you sittin' in high places The pieces gonna fall on you All you zombies show your faces All you people in the street All you sittin' in high places It's all gonna fall on you Zombies

Believe it or not, there is a main-stream grocery store in my town with THE best music you could imagine...Stones in the cat food aisle, Ramones in the frozen section...then this came on. I knew I liked it, but I couldn't place it...DOING! I got it. Good to hear it again. I never saw the vid until now...so well done. Take care, my friend.
