The HORRIFIC Exhumation Of Magda Goebbels - Hitler's Best Friend

One woman who during the Second World War would become very close with Adolf Hitler was Magda Goebbels. She was the wife of Hitler's propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, and she even relied on Hitler for marriage counselling at times. But she was an ardent Nazi, and was a woman who believed that she could not live without Hitler and Nazism. But as the Second World War turned against the Germans, she criticised the Nazi dictator but would go to the Fuhrerbunker in the final days of the war. She was one of the last people to see Hitler alive, but after his death she decided to bring an end to her life.
Inside the garden of the Reich Chancellery outside of the bunker, Magda and Joseph Goebbels died. But then as the Soviet Red Army took control of the area where the bunker was, their bodies along with Hitler's were buried hastily. Over the course of the next few decades, the body of Magda Goebbels was exhumed and moved a number of times, and was moved into Soviet control and was kept under immense secrecy.

THere is film of the remains you can find on youtube. THe children were intact in what I presume is their sleeping clothes. I am supprised this says they were burried before the Soviets got there as the bodies did not look particularly dirty. But I cannot say I know any better than the narrator. Sad story.

She could have taken the children to western or southern Germany where they would have been safe from the Russians. Magda's eldest son Harold was in southern Germany and might have been held for a short while by the allies. I heard the numerous people were trying to convince Magda to not kill them, and to let them take her children to safety. In Downfall, Speer is shown trying to convince her. But I think others, such as Hannah Reich, who left the bunker with Ritter von Griem for Flensburg, also offered to take them.

I don't know if I agree with your statement of "a women who was happy to kill her own children". The fear of what the Russians may do to the children must have had an impact on her decision. As history shows, the Russians were brutal towards the german people and rape and other cruel atrocities were common. Dont believe it. She could have easily removed her children to a safe place closer to the allies (in the Southern mountains for example) but she would not do this. She kept the children living in Berlin, and this was hell. Everyone was in fear of being bombed to death. And then at the end , their mother killed them after their traumatization. What kind of monster would put her children through this when there were safe alternatives. Think hard on that and you will realize she really was a monster.

The sadistic rapes being experienced by all ages would have been terrifying. Yes, she may have been able to get away but that was one heck of a risk attempting to do so. Most who took that option were captured, tortured and eventually killed. Hitler had that option but he knew what would happen to give him and his wife if he was caught. Killing himself, wife and dog seemed to be the best of two bad options to him. I guess she thought the same about her children. Harold Quandt was his name. He was 24 when his mother died. He survived the war but died in a plane crash in 1967 at age 45. Oddly, Harold didn’t live with her from age 8-13. He stayed with his father but as the Nazis swept to power, he was called to return to her and her husband so he had no choice but to go. He was a prisoner of war for 3 years, got out and helped design amphibious cars. His fatal crash was one of the reasons production of the amphibious vehicles was ceased. She and Joseph were horrible evil people but all of the children were innocent, even Harold. He was caught up in events surrounding him and he had no desire to embrace his Nazi past. Given who his mother was, being a Nazi was not exactly a choice.

Both Hitler and his wife made it South America via U boats, along with many other higher level SS Officers. The US Government bought many top SS medical doctors, scientists and administrators to its shores via “Operation Paper Clip.” Von Braun literally got NASA off the ground with German rocket technology. The rest got jobs within the government bureaucracy… with pensions! Many of their children I’m sure work in government; you can see the handy work all over the place… starting with the war propaganda, “experimental”medicine 👀 and much more. The Russian Government also took as many Scientists as they could as well. The CIA/FBI had both been following and tracking Hitler and his wife. Many documents have been shown to prove this 100%. There were also several eyewitnesses (maids, servants etc) who served him food/drink etc. directly. It was said they wanted Hitler around just in case they had problems with the Russians. Even though WW2 would’ve been lost without the Russians (who suffered 20+ million casualties), Some government and military higher-ups actually wanted to keep marching eastwards and takeout the Russians. Gen. Patton was one of them. Oddly enough, Hitler hated Communism perhaps more than the US Government. Today, the Row with the Russians still continue, But imho, this goes back to the Khazarian Bolshevik’s and the Russian Revolution. Russia almost became a member of NATO, but the Bolshevik’s just wasn’t going to have it. Reminds me of the whole Bin Laden “capture/burial” story, I lol at every bit of it.
