S'Lanter are FEV mutated, intelligent/sentient racoons, a cut content from Fallout 1. They were kinda similar to the intelligent deathclaws of Fallout 2. So there is a timeline where S'Lanters are as staple to the franchise as bottlecaps or radscorpions. And that screaming is Tlaloc's demise. It marks a wild time for Mexican nations as the powerful AI that was keeping the region in check shuts down and fractures into three "children" that will engulf the region into a war.

Love the OWB content. If you want to give it another spin, Enclave remnants are always a fun option. Closest options for that would be MacArthur AFB up north, or the Granite Company path over in Eureka. There's also an Enclave Reborn submod that I heavily recommend, adds Enclave in west of New Reno. Submod is a bit overpowered, though, but fun.

Enclave Reborn isn't really getting any updates, I'd recommend Enclave + along with it to really flesh out the Purist tree and help with all the graphical errors.

Ofc it causes a split in production, but the fact you can just decapitate nearly any small nation at the start is already OP in my opinion.

@@BrianFlyingPenguin unfortunately, last time I checked Enclave reborn does not work, crashes on launch due to being so outdated that the provinces the Enclave is supposed to spawn on aren't the same anymore, so it either doesn't load at all or crashes before loading. Enclave + may be way easier, but it's honestly one of the few if not only way to play Enclave Reborn nowadays.

Enclave Reborn submod makes them an independent nation in Sierra Army Depot. As for base OWB, Eureka under the Granite Company path and Macarthur are both Enclave.

The fun thing about Vegas is it's relatively easy to get to 0% required consumer goods if you have both the white gloves and the omerta's. After a certain point the snowball is unstoppable. Oh, and Puppets are actually good, the size and strength of your puppets give your nation a boost and for new vegas you benefit again by using the puppets manpower.

Love seeing you play OWB. One of my favorites is the Rio Grande Republic. Afaik their lore is made up by the mod mostly but it is still one of the most fun and versatile nations around. And the Mirelurks are also pretty fun especially with their lovecraft-cthulhu-mission (at least I believe it was them, it's been a while)

When it comes to resistance in OWB, Enforcers with Dog support companies are both very effective at being garrison units and are good heavy infantry units with great defense and armor stats but aren't treated as special units for the cap.

@@AsymmetricalCrimes Militia units are good if you don't have the industry to support a line of relatively more expensive infantry armor. However, Enforcers do have armor, and much like in base hoi4, a light tank is a very cheap and effective suppression unit because the 'resistance' cannot get through the armor. You will use less infantry equipment and armor using enforcers as your resistance suppression unit, and atop that, enforcers make as a good defensive unit to hold positions or be part of the push.

Please more of it! At this point this is so much more interesting than the billionth playthrough of vanilla or Kaiserreich. For RP reasons I'd love to see an utopia run for the NCR. Democracy, equality, wealth, great infrastructure, safety all across the land, and power for everyone. The rebirth of the pre war world basically. A little addition: it would be really nice if you'd keep the main even popups at least a second longer in the cuts so the viewers who want to see it can pause the video and read through them.

Oh great mod. Love it! Trade node is always in a capital, but you see trade node information also in adjacent territories of the main tradenode (new vegas) MacArthur and Eureka have enclave path. Make sure as Eureka to send voluteers to free people, else you cannot expand.

I like modded versions. It is interesting and fun to try out. It also shows people what mods are around and gives an impression about the mod. Playing 2 or 3 major nations and 2 minors who all offer different gameplay in the same mod might be a good idea to showcase it. I personally would love to see some 40k mod at one day. I personally have tried the unification wars beta, however it currently seems to not be compatible with the latest game version. Might be worth a look once it is updated.

Imagine how terrifying this would be as a normal civilian. You hear about New Vegas, and at first you find Mr. House and his securitron army to be a force for good as he slowly eliminates raiders and subjugates barbaric tribals and modernizes their territories. But the securitron army keeps growing, and he keeps conquering new territories. Because the securitrons can be produced without the same limit to growth as a human army, his power grows every day, and as new factories come online, power grows exponentially. Soon it looks like Mr. House is poised to take over the entire continent via a brutal, autocratic rule of robots that he can directly control anywhere on the continent. No potential for civil war or rebellion from his army. Just conquest and administration. Sure, he's a benevolent dictator. But you have no guarantee that he will remain so, and there is no one to stop him if he chooses to end his benevolence.

For context about the faction Masters new army: from the looks of it those are super mutants. If you follow the lore before fallout 76, the super mutants were created by “the master” this horrible abomination of a man who had spread his flesh and whole body around a computer and had absorbed the beings of many. He was going to make mutants the master race but was defeated by the Vault dweller.
