You can side load Google like with most Chinese phones. But it won't work with android auto

Very nice and solid foldable phone, premium price for a premium product, Live Multitask feature is a must have feature for large screens. I like it but can’t afford it 😅

I've had the X3 now for a year and although it's fantastic, what is bad is that it was an incredibly expensive phone and now 1 year later, there's already two newer/better models available. the X3 also still runs EMUI13 and this runs EMUI14. I find the same with the Matepads, i.e. that Huawei doesn't upgrade older models of anything software wise.

Mindboggling that when US sanctions hit, I genuinely thought it was over for Huawei but that foolish decision by the Trump administration, which is no stranger to ludicrous decisions, ended up being the biggest blessing Huawei could ask for. Their chip game has passed the moon and now is aiming for the stars, their EV division is up and running, their overall growth is astonishing, their software has become independent of Google monopoly and their designs have entered their respective golden era. I can't help but express my admiration and tip my hat to the level of resilience displayed by Huawei!

Keep telling yourself that. Nobody sells premium phones like Apple. Huawei doesn't even sell more books folds or overall folds than Samsung. This phone looks good, but Chinese foldables have done little to push this market mainstream. The only company that can do that is likely Apple.

Honor magic v3 is better for most people cus it has google. Also its thin and light.

Saying this is the most durable fold is a stretch. Fold durability is not measured by marketing or presentations. It is measured by actual use. In that regard, Samsung is the most durable. They don't go around scrubbing negative news about their folds off the internet. Other than that, everything looks good on the X6.
