In the books, Katniss and Finnick actually became close friends because they both shared the trauma of having a loved one taken and tortured by the Capitol. Peeta as Katniss' loved one and Annie as Finnick's loved one. I wish the film could atleast show a moment or two between them.

That's why whenever I see people to stop and rest, I get very anxious. NEVER stop to rest unless you know for sure you are in a safe place maybe even higher ground or trap or something. But I think we all could agree that Finnick didn't have to die, at least not like that. He was one of the best characters. That small bit of hope in this scene of him making it out was smashed and burned 😢
