Yeah, and it refers back to Catching Fire, of course. Another one, only in the book, is: "Let me go" -Katniss "I can't" -Peeta Said when Katniss wants to kill herself by nightlock pill after having killed Coin, and Peeta stops her. For the longest time I was sure this was also a repeated exchange, but it wasn't. Probably refers back to the first nightlock scene, though, when Peeta initially wants to stop Katniss from eating the berries. Suzanne Collins was CRAZY good at foreshadowing, references, and parallels like that.

In the first book, it was said that Katniss didn’t know what Peeta meant that night on the roof before the first games, when he said “I don’t want them to change me, even if I’m gonna die.” Which I just noticed could have been foreshadowing, or just a connection between the beginning and end that Collins made 😭😭❤️

When Katniss says stay with me, she said the same thing I’m catching fire when she had a nightmare and Peeta said always. This makes it seem that Katniss didn’t just kiss Peeta do he would come out of his trance, but so he would help her overcome the living nightmare she is in now

Finnick knew what he was doing. He knew throwing his trident at the mut was a risky move cause he was loosing his main weapon. But he knew katniss needed to stay alive and he was prepared to die for that. I know that doesn't make it any less tragic. Especcially knowing that Annie was pregnant but he could see the bigger picture and knew what needed to be done. Luckily katniss made sure it was a quick death

So I noticed one of them had a fully automatic gun. Why couldn't they give the gun to Finnick or someone who was already down there and just mow down the mutts? All Finnick had was like a pick-axe-type weapon and he was clearly outnumbered. If he had that fully automatic gun, he might have lived. I know there was no time to think. They were relying on instincts and survival. Just a thought.

@@miahsjamal eh, tbh finnicks death was one of the worst parts of the movie. not only is it just really uneccesary as he really didn't need to die, they had a lot of stuff set up for him after the rebellion that would have been pretty cool to see but they pretty much just kill it off with him. and in the movie they do it NO justice. at least in the book it was waaay more heroic until he went down finally.

there are 2 things about those mutts that this clip doesn't really do a good job of portraying that truly show how terrifyingly good at his job Snow is, 1) these mutts keep repeating Katniss's name, and 2) they smell like roses, which Snow REEKS of. They were designed as a deliberate physical AND psychological attack on sooooo many levels

If you think about it, Finnick the Victor from District 4 Was good with tridents and specialized with combat with it, He gave up his trident to save Katniss and had to use a knife which is way smaller than a trident and also he wasn't that good with it, So next time you think about Finnick remember him as a hero who saved Katniss Cause he could of easily kept the trident and saved himself but no, He put others first, Man.. District 4 Lost 2 Great and Genuine victors..
