This channel deserves sooo much credit. I have developed such a deep appreciation for drumming & drummers. Before discovering it a couple years ago. I don’t think I ever really noticed a single thing about the drumming on a track apart from a solo or a fill where everything else went silent. Now anytime I listen to 99/100 songs, I hear the intricacies of the drums more than anything else that I don’t even hear the lyrics most of the time. and now I’ve genuinely wanted to become a drummer😂

Will is on my mount Rushmore of drummers, every band he sits behind he brings a level of dynamics and power that they have never had before and it changes the whole feel for the better. On top of that if you watch him live it's hard to take your eyes away from his playing as this dude knows how to put on a show!. I was lucky enough to get a few drum lessons from him around 10 years ago and was able to hang with him for a bit in Sydney when they came out for the synthesis tour. Super humble dude. Hey guys at Drumeo, your ears were ringing after his performance? 😂😂 I had the chance to play with him after a clinic he did in my town, and I can assure he hits the drums like a blacksmith! Will is a super nice guy and full of energy! During the soundcheck I said to the sound engineer “hey, could you give me more snare in my monitor, because I can’t ear it enough…” then I turn to Will and he was like “…really…???” With his eyes wide open. Then we started laughing together, it was clear that I was joking. We played some Zeppelin’s, Deep Purple, Guns’n’Roses and other classics, it was super fun.
