This channel deserves sooo much credit. I have developed such a deep appreciation for drumming & drummers. Before discovering it a couple years ago. I don’t think I ever really noticed a single thing about the drumming on a track apart from a solo or a fill where everything else went silent. Now anytime I listen to 99/100 songs, I hear the intricacies of the drums more than anything else that I don’t even hear the lyrics most of the time. and now I’ve genuinely wanted to become a drummer😂

I was never an Evanescence fan honestly, but seeing him play through this when it was clearly promoted everywhere back in the day and people still listen to it today is cool. The guy has mad chops and I did not know Josh played the original. It was Amy’s voice that made me never get into them honestly. So excited! Here's some fun facts about the song as per Wiki: - Singer-keyboardist Amy Lee wrote it when she was 19(!) - This song and My Immortal were set to be included on Fallen, but ended up on the Daredevil soundtrack. - Against Amy's wishes, Wind-up Entertainment brought in 12 Stones' Paul McCoy to sing the rap parts. She liked it though. - This song was recorded before Will joined Evanescence. Josh Freese played on the original recording!
