Yes to grilled cheese, all day long. Tomato soup, bacon jam or sweet chili sauce are my favorites for a dipping situation. My favorite bread is a good sourdough.

Who would have known that building and consuming a grilled cheese sandwich could be so much fun?! Actually, I follow many of these steps when I make my grilled cheese, but you did such an outstanding job explaining the “why?” Great video. I’m in the “Mayo” camp for the “Sammie” bread, pan-side, butter very lightly on the cheese-side, and butter in the pan! Way to go!

All is good with this sandwich. When I make GCS for tomato soup, the grandkidz love them cut into 'sticks', especially for smaller kidz with smaller hands. 🙂

Yum!! Next time I make grilled cheese- I’m trying it this way!! The freshly shredded cheese is a great tip. I shred my cheese for Mac and cheese, so it makes sense to do this for a grilled cheese sandwich.

Your recipe is great I wouldn’t change anything. On the side I love dill pickle chips the same that would be put on a hamburger. As a second to that dill pickle spears would also work.

I would make a home made "alioli" garlic mayonaisse.. with a hint of shaved truffles... it gives that extra kick!
