what I also noticed is that her hair gets lighter throughout the story. it even has some ginger highlights in the end, echoing Arts hair colour.

What an astute observation. I see that now. Love videos like these, and the comments people leave. Really makes one think about other angles

what does this symbolize? love that you noticed this!

Exactly! Especially for art who had a bright color tone in his hair symbolize his youth and “fiery” passion in the beginning but shows his modern presence cut to a more mundane and lighter tone which means he’s no longer had the same energy he once had

It’s lighter in the front but darker in the back, hinting her front-facing relationship with Art but hidden longing for Patrick.

Vidoes like this make me grateful that my phone is eavesdropping on my conversations bc Ive been BEGGGING for a an analysis of the hair in this movie!

I also think that perhaps the way Zendaya had blonde hair during the press tour for challengers helped mark this movie as a stand out in her career so far and helped elevate challengers into big a pop culture moment

Great video, just one caveat: Art doesn’t win at the end. He hits the shot in bounds, but he touches the net, which is a penalty violation (negating the point of the final hit), so game is still tied and not over when the movie ends.

Nobody can make a meal out of the meaning of hair like a black girl. 😂 It's like white girls and body image. This is the seed of a masters thesis. Well done ma'am.

Wdym white girls and body image
@riannemitchell61824 ай бұрын
@@soulfood2453 They obsess about body shape and size like we obsess about edges and long hair. Obviously not universal but what I've noticed. Patriarchy tells white women they can't be sexy unless their body is perfect. It tells black women they are made for sex but femininity (read: male protection) is variable based on how close they are to the mainstream beauty ideal.

@@riannemitchell6182I couldn’t have said better! But I’m curious about the recommendation you made; is it a book or article? And what’s the automatic name’s? I tried to find it but I couldn’t
