Couldn’t have said it better myself! Add to that this play being an incredibly rare “walk-off” TD*, the highest scoring play (by far) in NFL Postseason history per Pro-Football Reference’s Expected Points metric, & a key play to make Pittsburgh become the first NFL team to win 6 Super Bowls. It even kinda resembled one of the game’s most beloved institutions the “fat guy TD.”** *Walk off for the end of the half, not the game. ** James Harrison is actually totally shredded, so much so in fact, he looks like a Ninja Turtle with his shirt off. Watching this play, it’s not just his size: big, or his speed: slow, but also all the rumbling, bumbling, & stumbling he had to do just to get to the endzone - where he promptly passed out, more than earning his own bottle of that sweet, sweet victory oxygen.

Oh man, what a golden era to be a Steeler Fan. So many future HOF players... I'd dare to say the Steelers might have been one of the TOP 3 teams in football from 2005-2010. Harrison explains this on Footbahlin with Roethlisberger. He says that he faked in order to create space for Timmons to get in (which he does) and then dropped on his own accord even though he could have blitzed because he felt he would not get there on a blitz given how fast Kurt was getting the ball out to that point.

This never, ever, ever gets old. I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again...This is the greatest play in Super Bowl History. Eighteen seconds in the half, no second chance, all gas no brake. The game winning catch from Big Ben to Santonio Holmes was great, top 5, but it took a second chance as the first fade to the back left corner fell incomplete, and then the next play was the game winner. However, if not for this herculean effort by James and the team, the Ben to Santonio TD would not have mattered. This is the play that allowed Pittsburgh to win. Still, how blessed were football fans to see TWO of the top 5 greatest plays in Super Bowl history happen in a single game.

You can see at 0:25 Larry Fitzgerald run into 21 on the sideline and slow down a lot. If that player wasn’t in the way Larry would’ve tackled him and it would’ve been one of the best hustle plays of all time

All I got to say is this is the Pittsburgh Steelers through and through, this is why I’m a lifetime Steeler and will never change, did you see the wall of yellow in front guys dragging at the end of half but givin 110% to getting that man in the end zone, and Harrison lookin like a ballerina to get that touchdown, what a play, something I will take to my grave with, man o man it’s great being a part of STEELER NATION!!

Man...the older i get, the more i cherish the fact that i got to see not one, but TWO Steelers super bowl wins. And both were commentated by Al and the great John Madden. Looking at people like Philadelphia Phil who was older than dirt when the eagles finally won one, i feel very lucky. Even if i never see another

A few years later, when Crawlin Kaepersnatch started the most disrespectful trend in the history of professional sports, Mr. James Harrison told his teammates, " If any of you go out there and kneel, I'll make sure you CAN'T stand!" Legendary Patriotism.

Love this play for so many reasons.. from seeing how fast Fitzgerald flew to catch Harrison (plowing through dudes on the sideline) to seeing nearly every dude on the field hitting the deck at some point. Stakes could not be higher.
