Melatonin supplements delayed my periods by three weeks. I was scared and thought of taking a pregnancy test. It was negative. My periods are usually never latee

melatonine can affect ovulation and hence have an impact on fertility ! many studies have said that .

I've been taking melatonin for a couple months now, and I am currently 3 days late on my period. I have had 2 negative pregnancy tests. Is there any chance melatonin is the cause? I take anywhere from 3 to 9mg a day depending on how tired I am.

Any chance that melatonin is the cause of NEGATIVE pregnancy tests? It's unlikely as melatonin is generally beneficial for conceiving.

Same here I am also three days late on my period thanks to melatonin 5 mg for only two nights in a row and a negative pregnancy test🙄

Nourish with Melanie Your welcome I am starting the IVF procedures next month. Kinda a scary but it goes by fast seems like. I am already taking 5mg for melatonin should I take more or stay with 5?

Most of the studies undertaken have used 3mg per day, so I wouldn’t take any more than that unless recommended by your health care practitioner
