Hi everyone, I made this video for my year 8
geography assignment and thought I might as well upload it to help everyone out. This is a serious issue and we should consider these factors when making consumer choices. Always stop and ask the question: What does my cheap clothing really cost? Because by having questions such as these we can become active and informed consumers and our choices can really make a difference.

I have some questions about globalization leading to sweatshops. Isn't the whole reason that businesses move there factories and stuff to countries like China and Vietnam because there are already sweatshops there to begin with? And what compels the local workers in those countries to go work at those sweatshops anyways? Wouldn't the new sweatshops being created have to at least match the pay and work environment of the local sweatshops and other businesses to get people in those countries to work there or am I missing something?
