I think that 72 hour rule simply is not true. Intuition appears at the moment when all our senses are involved. At that point, our understanding of reality expands and we simply "know" that it is so.

Wow, this casual chat between 2 super tuned in dudes was so on point for me. I'm just passed 1.5 yrs sobriety & am acutely aware that I've spent the majority of my life winging it. It's a miracle I made it this far. The gift of trusting yourself & forgiveness is like no other. Thank you for this great take on life. Awareness. Clarity. Peace. 🤗🤗🍂🌿🍁🐿

Not everyone has access to someone outside of themselves who can serve as a mentor, or guide, etc. Sometimes we have to get low enough to become introspective and really assess the result we're getting and ask ourselves why. There's no escaping the need to become one's own guide. I've found immense strength and growth in being able to force myself to dig deep and rely on myself rather than having someone else to go to for problem solving.

When I was teaching, our school had a rule that emails would not be answered for 48 hours. It was a VERY wise rule, and saved many of us from responding to inflammatory remarks in an emotional and unprofessional way. Sort of like the old childhood rule "count to 10 before you act"

My girlfriend and I were together 6 years and we lived together. I waited months before making the final decision to end things so hearing the 72 hour rule made me feel a little better… Sometimes if the intuition persists long enough, you have to take a chance on the unknown.

Human beings are truly more superhuman than we think. We have so much potential we have forgotten from our ancestors and that we don't utilize today, I'm huge on intuition and like he said build it everyday not being controlled by the sympathetic nervous system as much by impulse. This was great! 🤠

Thank you Rich, I have listened to many of your podcasts, your voice is calming, and I have found some good to carry with me, and some realization of true self, the one with guided intuition, and the ability to have control over impulses. Those that impart a negative view, have a negative view, and probably benefit most by their own denial of the part of themselves that they refuse to see in you. So they need the most help then.

We love you Rich, don't listed to the haters. As Guru S says, the ones who come out of your podcasts/conetnt with a negative experience, that's not about you. I understand it must be hard to distance yourself for the negativity.. I don't use social media (never been a huge fan, then watched the social dilemma). It’s exactly the same with 12step meetings , zoom great and saved my life in lockdown but there’s something different in the physical meetings. Guided by my intuition Used to force it now I only listen I’ve been busy breaking out of my mental prison And Now I see the light is infinite and I’m really living Couldn’t wait anymore no its been way too long Packin my luggage and any moment im gone I can’t have a boss only do what I want But the Anxiety bubbling try to remain calm But the anxiety bubbling try to remain calm Try to stay in my zone But man its hard sometimes Need to be reminded that the sun still shines And thats just somethin that I keep on forgettin But I don’t understand why All this darkness inside is no friend mine The only battle that im fighting is the one thats in my mind

Well, now you need to interview some Godly Christians. (Although careful not to source false prophets or believers deceived by new age practices.) I renounced a lifetime of new age/occult and 28 years of yoga , and became a believer of Jesus and God. It was hands down the best and most important change of my life.

There’s another “I” word…..imagination. IMO it’s the most powerful of the five. Does it not dictate how the others respond based on previously recorded information that may or may not be useful or functional? Imagination takes into account the “what if” factor. It’s the question mark of all thought and/or action. Imagination without discipline is particularly dangerous.

Exactly what is it that makes one wise? It’s obviously not original thought. None of us has ever had an original thought. We simply offer the mind and body suggestions based on what information has been collected. Additionally, we don’t dictate how either operates as far as the demands that both require from the animal. I.e. neither mind nor body are to be trusted to offer anything that can be construed as profitable for the animal or for the herd. So…what has the power to effectively and profitably arbitrate between mind and body?

I adore you both but the weighted blanket is the same principle of the slauthering house. sooothing hack before getting you killed and too many stress hormones getting into your flesh.I wish we were able to soothe ourselves by refleting on our discomfort and getting up and writing about it? Calling someone? I'm deep in a messed up situation and all these podcasts are so helpfull. The last three I've forward to so many people I care about. When you're are a control frick and, suddenly, lost of control through alcohol and delicious meals (all mostly whole food, all vegan) become a escape and not so condusive to sobreaty and spiritual growth???.... It's kind of twisted "cause I'm 57 and never drank before regulary. I'm in that crossed wires situation when I decided not eating made me survive but getting attention and not the other way around. so drinking and indulgind in more calories feels less destructive???? I know these commentes are not meant to be a therapy session. I have one this week and I'll reffer to this episode but.... The gray fog is all around us. I wish everything were black and white. Much Love and Peace from Upstate NY
