My Father was involved in cross country motorcycle racing in that area in the mid 60s. If i recall he mentioned that people were just then realizing the damage that was being done by offroad vehicles. But documenting and taking steps to protect the various sites still took a long time.

I did Peru, Equador, Mexico and i was expecting the Nazca lines to be more impressive somehow but what’s impressive is how many there are. Still glad i saw it while off to Maccu Piccu.

i was so confused at about 8 minutes in because you use old photographs of the second site you mentioned to compare to the site you went and saw irl. i was sad to see his knobbly knees and elbows gone! at least theyre kind of still there :)

Lol yeah I guess we could’ve thrown in another photo of the other site earlier in the video. Didn’t think of that. Yes his knees and elbows are still there 😁

Here thanks to Dr. David Miano of World of Antiquity. 👋🏼😊 So glad someone covered these lesser-known geoglyphs! ❤❤ Edited to add: I don't think the natice council should've stopped the building of a solar farm >nearby,< not _ON,_ a glyph. The power of the sun is a gift we should learn to accept! ❤❤

Good job again guys. I have been to the Yuha Basin geoglyph, but those that you showed as Yuha Geoglyphs are different. Where are those located? BTW, if you find yourself along Interstate 8 near Ocotillo, visit the Imperial Valley Desert Museum. Tell Kristen (Director) hello for me.

Thanks Bruce! We actually didn’t visit the Yuha glyphs, we just found that photo online. It seems there are a bunch of them. Some were all but destroyed from off-roaders, crazy world. Much love to you brother!

Fantastic work fellas, as usual. Yeah I had no idea these were in the states. I've seen a couple before and just assumed they were south American. I tend to wonder if these types of glyphs are meant to reflect astrological signs here on earth. Sort of the "as above so below" and our plane of existence being in the middle.

Ya most Americans have no idea they’re there. While growing up in California, we’d never heard of them either. You may be right about the as above so below idea, mirroring constellations that represent ancient creation stories.

Why can't people(archeologists) or Native Americans from the local area repair the glyphs and smooth out the tire tracks in the surrounding area to bring their old beauty back? Maybe pick up the broken glass? 🤔
