No they don't make shows like this anymore. That would get boring and repetitive. They're making all new shows and breaking new ground in new directions. Dave changed late night TV, but so did Jack Paar and Johnny Carson. James Corden has done something wildly innovative as well, and he's still doing it - for the rest of the season anyway.

I think I was about 10 when I saw this, and it may be the first time I fell in love. Also, I find it fascinating how babes looked older in the 90s. Also never heard a HS student say they're "full-time," but I suppose it may have been possible in Jersey. Needless to say, I have never married.

It's not that women looked older, it's that what the media considered attractive changed. Actually, the younger look was the norm in the 30s and 40s. Then by the 80s the look of many actresses was much different, which is why 80s movies and shows are criticized now of having ugly women, because for some reason Hollywood leaned toward 25 year olds that looked 35-45. Now the younger look is the norm again.

It’s magicians thread. Probably attached to the back of her head, over her forehead and into the mouth attached to the gum. The arc of the gum is the give away, she blows it out the mouth and it swings back to her mouth

My guess on Annabella's trick: As Annabella is walking to Dave, it does not appear that she wears earrings as we see her right ear between the 2:03 and 2:05 mark. At 3:01 and with playback speed of x0.25, the gum will be blown out and then return back into her mouth. During this time, look at the area where her left ear should be and you can see a reflection coming from the clear wire.

I can't decide if she's using a gadget or if she is telling the truth when she says it's done with her lungs. If she has a gadget on the roof of her mouth, that may be confirmed by the fact that she tries to speak as little as possible, and when she says the letter "D" it sounds like her tongue isn't properly hitting the roof of her mouth like any normal person's tongue would. Listen to her "D" at 2:07.
