It started with the forging of the great Films. The threads were given by Tolkien, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. The rights were granted to Jackson, the great mountain miner and craftsman of the mountain of lore .And nine, nine hours were given to the race of men, who above all else desire quality. But they were all of them deceived, for another show was made. In the Land of Amazon, in the fires of Mount Prime, the Dark Lord Bezos forged in secret a Master Flop. And in to this show he poured his money, his greed and his will to dominate every film. ONE SHOW TO RUIN THEM ALL ⚔️

I think the bootleg Metroidvania could use an improved remake: make it a little more puzzle oriented, encouraging you to use the abilities of the cast (kinda like lost vikings), no spawnable enemy, most of them being fodder easy to dispose of and a single type enemy which requires a little strategical reflection to defeat.

This was a pretty nice video! You know St1ka, I have a suggestion for you for a very interesting topic in a beloved series: The Elder Scrolls Ngage game. It is astonishingly impressive for a 2004 phone game, and pretty much like a miniature normal Elder scrolls game, like something you would expect to see on a much stronger handheld like the PSP. So i think it is very much worth talking about, and the fact that it is an elder scrolls game will mean lots of eyes on the video too! and as a bonus, you can talk about the 3 elder scroll games on normal phones. They are way less impressive, but they are also a pretty interesting topic that is pretty much never talked about, and they fit the video :) PS: The Bioshock and Resident Evil phone games are pretty interesting topic too :)
@st1ka2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, Elder Scrolls: Shadowkey is pretty interesting. In fact, there's some interesting and forgotten Elder Scroll spin-offs out there including a point and click adventure game if I'm not mistaken. I never thought about making a video about this topic mostly because RPGs require a large time commitment, but it's definitely worth looking into.
@fayezfawzi32552 жыл бұрын
@@st1ka well, I don't think those require that much time and commitment because they were designed for mobile systems on the go after all, and with the phone technical limitations to boot. I know for a fact the 3 normal phone games are pretty quick to finish (especially the 3rd one called "Oblivion mobile" or something lol) so the only one that will require some time from you will be the Ngage one, and even it wouldn't require nearly as long as any of the mainline entries. So I don't think you need to worry much about that :) And the BioShock and Tomb Raider phone games arent long either ;).

The thing about VF going legit is, they kinda did. During the early 90s staff from VF (VF was not a thing until 1998) developed monochrome gameboy games that got published by a company called Gowin. Those games while unlicensed appear to be originals that did not borrow from other companies. VF was more of a developer than a publisher though. In works where they were self published (meaning explicitly credited) they seem to borrow a lot less from other companies. They only released games in a few not so strict regions, so maybe by those places standards they were legit

His classic humor was revolving around Adult Swim-like absurdism and wordplay. Eventually he got so big and beloved, that in 2006 Gaijin Entertainment (Mostly known today for War Thunder) made a game after the first Goblin(tm) rendition of the Lord of the Rings. Later, in 2009, came the sequel. The games have been launched only on PC, and were in essence an unsophisticated hack-and-slash, nothing to write home about. Funny you should mention the idea of Sintax doing another Castlevania game for LOTR. They kinda did. Yep, another reskin of Castlevania DX. Thankfully hitboxes line up a lot better in that reskin compared to the Rockman one. I think I can explain at least some of the jank in Sintax platformers. If you input left or right on the d-pad the same frame you jump, your jump will not come out. This can be tested by mapping jump and the d-pad to the same button on some emulators. This won't happen often in gameplay, but if you are playing for a while, then it is bound to happen here and there

@@st1ka A BGC discord user who goes by forple mentioned speaking to someone who sold the game engine to Sintax. I don't know how their conversation went down though

King of the Ring looks more like being inspired from Zelda 2: The Adventure of Like and the BGM in Lord of the Ring 4, isn't that the same music from Action 52's Cheetahmen?
@st1ka2 жыл бұрын
Ah the cheetahmen music was just editing. I couldn't rip the original soundtrack

@@st1ka Xenophobia? That's what you got from that? I don't like your voice so I'm immediately racist? Go touch grass 🤡 E: Also, putting "INSANE" in the title really cringey and clickbaity... just like your thumbnails. But hey, if you can't get views with just the content...

wouldn't a "metroidvania with RPG elements" simply be a side scroller RPG?
@st1ka2 жыл бұрын
I think the difference is that in metroidvanias you need to unlock abilities to open new areas and revisit old areas ^^

How were you able to play the GBA game? I can’t seem to get it run on anything. But I really want to play it. Big fan of Twinkle Tale and it reminds a lot of it. Also the pocky and rocky series is fantastic so using that engine was a great move

Lel, those LotR "Castlevanias" are 1% Castlevania and 99% Getsu Fumaden. The graphics all look edited straight from Getsu Fumaden.
