Besides that, i stopped playing this game for years by now, minus a few log ins and seeing how a lot of things got added, but nothing really improved in any drastic way. its not the devs, the devs are just doing what they are told. Decisions like these come from a team dedicated to milking money out of GTA online and that is exactly what taketwo and its shareholders want to see. GTAO is after all, just a business that needs to continuously make money for all the parties invested in the wider company that owns the IP. A simple way for them to see an increase is to get people to buy into gta+. Subscription based content is proven to make consistent money over long periods of time and the way any provider does this is by locking certain content behind it to get you to buy it, Its obvious to see that is the intention behind removing the cars. I doubt they will rerelease them with higher price tags, they will avoid community backlash by just releasing newer cars for 5mil instead. gta6 is going to have gta+ from the start and you can almost guarantee the entire online experience is going to be either extremely paid to win focused with tons of content locked behind the subscription with an insane grind if you dont buy into it or since they know people will buy their game and want to play online and i almost wouldnt be surprised if they force gta+ as an entry requirement to play online, because lets face it millions of people will buy it to play online.

looking at my spreadsheet again, its really 190/191 cars removed in total. There are some cars that are "inaccessible" since their prerequisite car was delisted. So that 194 count includes: - Stirling GT HSW, since you cannot buy the Stirling GT normally without GTA+, you cannot upgrade it with HSW mods - Primo Custom, since you cannot buy the Primo normally, you cannot take it to Benny's to convert, tho I guess you can steal it from the streets, but still RNG dependant. - Comet Retro Custom, since you cannot buy the Comet normally, you cannot take it to Benny's to convert. Also cannot steal from the streets as it is "too hot"

It is still possible to obtain the Comet if you have an autoshop. It is in the pool for potential customer cars you can purchase, although that is heavily RNG dependent.

Go Go Monkey Blista - you cannot get the car anymore, before the update you have to reach the arena skill level 20 (meaning win 210 rounds) to unlock for free the blista inside the shop (Southern)

The Stirling GT (HSW) isn't a separate vehicle "technically" so I guess that knocks one off the count, but the Primo Custom is a separate entity to the Primo and the same is true for the Comet Retro Custom, so I'd include them in the count.

If it was really about streamlining the websites, they could have taken all the cars/bikes that cost less than 500k, added them to the traffic pool and increased the threshold for LS Customs to 500k. People need to realize that there is no helpful or altruistic motive behind this action by Rockstar, whatever they might say. This is purely a move to get more money out of the players. If it has not already happened I am sure these vehicles will become available through some BS subscription service where you will have the privilege to buy the removed vehicles are very inflated prices. Also, they want players to buy more Shark Cards. This is what happens when the suits in charge of the video game industry get no pushback from players. They keep doing more and more stuff like this. The GTA players should revolt against this but most likely they will just accept it and continue to get their fix when they play the game.

See, here's the thing: I'm not technically over working age in my country yet. My parents give me £20 a month to use on whatever I like. So I want to use the money on things I actually want, like sim racing gear, not Shark Cards. But I literally can't do anything about it because Rockstar is a multi-billion dollar company, and doesn't care about the playerbase anymore. The Enus Cognoscenti Cabrio was the first high end car that I bought in GTA: Online back in 2013 because I loved the car so much in SP (having stolen one from the paparazzi side missions). I still have it on my character from the original Xbox 360 release that is now on PC. A car I bought back in 2013. On a totally different platform. And I still drive in-game. So... Screw Rockstar.

The spawning did break a bit when we did it live so we're actually missing some stuff (like the entire vans class). That's because older GTA cars have much more in-depth damage models than new ones. Kicking an old car crumples various parts, makes parts fall off, and so forth. Kicking a new car just leaves a scratch, do it enough and the hood or bumper falls off.

I’m a long time gta player who hasn’t played or checked in on gta online in about a year or so..... and to see these changes (to come and watch this video) well its incredibly disappointing to say the least. I’m still on PS4 as I haven’t had the chance to upgrade yet. And I honestly can’t get my head around this move as Lots of these vehicles are great. With some absolute classics in there. I’ve never bought a shark card in my life. Always grinded for hours and hours making money the legit way (playing the game). I don’t have all these vehicles yet and what now I’m never going to be able to buy them ?.. From my understanding the only way I can buy them is if I pay for a Gta membership thing .... and go to some new car show room to buy them even though the vehicle is many years old .... this is outrageous. Rockstar has killed it with GTA overall (smashed it in a good way) but my god have they gone downhill these last few years. They are so greedy. Honestly, this is so sad. It's almost ruined GTA Online for me. I've been playing GTA Online for ten years and thanks to your testing videos Broughy, I do have 99% of the vehicles I wanted already stored in garages. But there's still a few that I wanted to complete my collection. Yes, they might pop up on the podiums or Simeon's but it's not the same. The only reason I did the boring heists and businesses was to raise the money to buy the cars. Now all that is pointless. I certainly won't be playing the game anywhere near as much as I used to now. As a PC player the thing is I cannot absolutely do anything about this. There is no GTA+ to buy! They just removed content from us and on PC they gain nothing from it.

Honestly, its better to start looking into singleplayer modding for GTA V. There are alot of tutorials online on how to get started and there are so many modifications available ranging from lore friendly / real life cars, graphics mods, and even mods that make the game feel more like the real life Los Angeles. You will not regret it once you start modding GTA V singleplayer.

Along with the stock chassis VW car I raced 38 and 39 years ago. Then the race track closed and no other track in the area had a 4cyl. late model division. No ebay back then. Was actually just collecting money over time to slowly build my collection, with cars from older games being a particular treat for me. Even though it wasn't the same model as the one in gta 3, I did want to get the stinger and try to mod it to be reminiscent of the yakuza stinger. Now I can't really purchase it unless I get lucky with dealerships/businesses. Truth be told, I'm just going to buy a new account for super cheap and start modding the game. P much only play with friends, so now I can get the cars I want, while making the gameplay and gunfights less painful.

I will miss the FWD cars like the Pigalle and the Ingot because front tires are less likely to get shot out and you can still drive with only 1 good tire. Good thing I still have the BF Club if it ever snows again. I will miss the Cyclone and 811 for crazy straight line acceleration with handling as an afterthought 😅

One thing is a good amount of cars that were removed are cars that can at least be grabbed off the street and saved such as the Baller and Patriot. The maib issue is those that can't. Would be nice to see a list that would narrow it down to cars that can't be obtained off the street or in store.

At the very least they could have made all of them drive around in the street and if you found the one you wanted you could drive it to the LSC and pay to have it be your personal vehicle. The amount could even be the actual price of the car from when it was for sale. Then there would be the element of hunting for the one you want.

The only guys in trouble are those, who recently made plans to buy a few of these cars but did not manage in time. I always just raced in GTA online. And buying even the cheaper cars is almost impossible with the money won from races. But I grinded so hard to be able to buy the ones I have. Now only the expensive ones are left. Such a shame they aren't satisfied with making billions from shark cards already. Can you guys just stop buying shit from game stores? It is insane to me how much people put into "micro"-transactions. Never bought anything ever, in any game.

This is what they do to new/veteran players. Just wait for newer players to have to pay for GTA+ to get ahold of those “lesser used” businesses and properties. What if all the high end apartments are removed from the game? One day they might just remove the hangars from the websites because very few people utilize the business that comes with it? What if a bunch of the weapons get locked behind GTA+? Rockstar said from the start that they didn’t want to divide the community by making paid DLC. This is going to be exactly a 180 from what they said for the last 10 years.
