I always patiently await your reviews. :-) I initially loved the dashboard, but after your review, I took a look at it again and realized it has the month and date, which is pointless since dashboards are usually evergreen. There's a lot of things in the box I won't use (pens, acrylic board, time block calendar, mirror card) so I rated this a 6. And I hate that their post-it notes don't stay flat--they always start to lift. Overall, quality wise, it seems like the Jan-March boxes but with a different name and higher price.

I agree with you. I was so excited when I was looking at it on their insta but when I got it I was kinda disappointed because the paper clips bent my inserts. The acrylic calendar felt so cheap and the markers… I love pens so I would’ve appreciated one instead of two markers, wish the marker would have been white too so I could clearly see the writing. Overall it was okay.

agree with your review! my marker also didn't work well on the acrylic. my acrylic calendar came with some lettering already rubbed off. Wasn't a fan of the dashboard. It was way toooo cluttered. However, I adore the olive nylon case. I fit my mac airpad in there and keyboard. I am not sure if i'll renew after next month's sub box. Canadian prices aren't worth it. My stickers also came in the wrong packaging which said photo corners. I have ordered a lot lately from there so maybe it's time for me to take a break after next month. The cost adds up fast!

Thank you! I love your honest and helpful videos---always. :) I am surprised that they are claiming to increase the quality of the boxes yet the acrylic board came without a stand or mounting hardware. Either would have made it feel more complete and increased the value. Metal clips, definitely won't use in my planner because I don't want my pages all bent up. I'm just not sure about this box. Been with them since for 5 years but I'm starting to question the value at times.

I need an easel, but I need one that is not very deep so that I can sit the calendar towards the back of my desk next to the wall, which will give it contrast. Love your easel!

Ahh, you may wanna look for an art easel instead of acrylic. I know they come in a lot more shapes and sizes.

Thank you for bringing up the point that using the time block stickers on the time block pad is extremely wasteful. I didn’t really think of that. Stickers are EXPENSIVE, and I don’t want to waste them on pages I’m essentially going to throw away. Using highlighters makes way more sense. I’m kinda new to cloth and paper, my first subscription box was March and I was really disappointed. I’m happier with this April box but I do feel like the highlight was the bag. Bags are nice and all but I really enjoy stickers, sticky notes, and inserts. We’ll see what May will bring. Thanks again for your review!

Thank you for watching 🥰 And yes I tried to buy scheduling sticker labels a while back, and I ended up spending so much money because I used them all the time - never again lol. And I agree with you. As a functional planner I really look for items to help simplify my work routine during my day. Bags are great and I love getting things like that every now and then but I really hope they focus on practical items for future boxes 😊 We do have inserts for May though so that’s a plus!

Oh my, the ink lifted on the acrylic monthly board 🫣 5 Below has monthly acrylic boards for $5.00. They come in different styles and colors. The bag is very cute. I like the squareness of it and the color. A gold zipper would have really made the olive POP!

I gave my box to my sister I wasn’t impressed at all!!!! Hopefully May & June boxes will be better!!!! At least I think June will be I saw a sneak peak of June there will be a travelers notebook in it 🫣

I 100% agree! I can’t stand when clips bend my page, while I love the color and style, I know I won’t use them. For someone who is new to the sub boxes, I’m really sad to not get deco cards. I see so many of them on IG and KZbin and that was one of the things I was looking forward to most and sad they are no longer doing them. I’ve also not been a fan of their dashboards lately. Not exciting, they don’t really speak to me. As a photographer they are just ok imo. And I love pens and writing utensils so I’m so sad we aren’t getting more than 2. I’m hoping that they get better in the upcoming boxes. I Do love the pouch, stickies, and the acrylic board. However, I wish it came with a stand. Hopefully, they will deliver on the next ones. 😊

Hi love your detailed unboxing. My dust bag did not come in plastic. Everything came inside my dust bag. I accidentally ordered an extra box and both came this way. Interesting to see other’s sub boxes with packaging differences.

I had an "ice grey" promaker, and it sucks, too - can barely see it on the acrylic at all. No way were these markers "curated" for it. Very disappointing!

I canceled my subscription some months ago. I got tired of getting sub boxes where I only liked one or two of the items. I also don’t think some of the items in the sub boxes aren’t the same quality as their general line (the items from their shop are top tier!). They have some great ideas for their sub boxes but I’d rather buy items individually.

That’s a really great point! I think a number of sub box items are “testers” to see if it is popular enough to carry on their website.

I decided to cancel my subscription after watching your new pricing video and a few other videos, too. I was on the fence but really, their quality has declined and I don’t like receiving random items that I will never use. I think the brand has been heavily relied on influencers to market in their content more, and not for regular-users/ clientele. Just my personal opinion.

Yep completely understandable 🥰 These boxes are pricy for sure, and there is an expectation especially after the price increase of higher quality products. Marketing gets the buzz out and is definitely necessary, but the end result should live up to the standard the company has set. Unfortunately this box missed the mark for a lot of people.
