If you read this, if someone makes a perfekt block, and a Combo after this, the Adrenalin goes up verry fast, and then the guy makes a finishing move.

A "perfect" block should also give you adrenaline, so people can't just cheap combo you with adrenaline

I have just tried the keyboard and mouse support and here is what I will say: - It works quite well on keyboard and mouse, however heavy hits are not as simple to use -I think you should add a feature where when both left and right punch are pressed a block or grab occurs -Keep going, your doing well, and stay motivated

What I found when playing the mouse and keyboard version of the game is that the character was leaning back to quick. When you lean to the side, the character immediately starts leaning back to the center. To make sure it doesn't, you need a lot of space on your desk for your mouse to move around. That's why I prefer the controller version for now. But: you made a lot of good progress and keep up the good work!

I didn't have a controller, so I was excited to see keyboard and mouse support. I tried it, and I gotta say it worked fine for me. Honestly, when you described it in the video, it looked worse than what I saw in the game. I think you should keep it, and depending on other people's feedback improve. Keep up the good work, Ponty!

In regard to the mouse and keyboard problem, how about adding two buttons (ex: "Q" and "E") and make those lean you back more in the correct direction. Might be misunderstanding the problem here, but the lack of keyboard support was what prevented me from trying it.

I’m totally with that.. make ur game. As a fellow GameDev I can’t imagine making a top quality video each week and still keeping up good progress on your game, not to mention having a life!! 😅 gotta keep the wife happy. If ur like me when she’s pissed off I lose all my creativity. Have you considered live streaming while ur working on things? Getting live feedback and ideas could be really good. That could help bridge the gap between videos. Career mode! 100% been mentioning this each week 👍 big bosses like fights, interesting mechanics. You could randomise mechanics so you don’t always get the same fight with the same boss. Maybe random between defensive, aggressive and outright wild. Picking fights to work ur way up to the big money fights. Reputation, money to buy new shorts, gloves and tattoos. It’s always good to work on 3D modelling when ur sick of coding and want to show some stuff for a video. Your game feel like ur trying to make a VR experience with a controller. I think it’s great. People will have to learn to play it. I think ur into a winner. Regards Stu 🥊

You should implement a charge punch. When this happens, it makes your character move slower and you have the ability to add in your second arm at the same time, or even upper-cut and punch down on the head.

Idea for keyboard and mouse: Using Q and E to rotate the camera left and right. It's more immersive if the camera can be adjusted, especially when moving while punching since it gives me more control over what I see and experience. In my opinion ofc, idk if other players can relate to this. I've also come across a problem which stems from mouse movement. Normally, people anchor their wrist to a table or a wrist rest when using a mouse, making the left and right motions more arced and curved rather than a straight left and right, causing me to sometimes lean back unintentionally. I gradually got used to it though, but it might be a problem to new players. Since the sensitivity is usually set pretty low, the left to right wind up has a bigger motion mouse wise. My experience with the game overall so far is very positive, cant wait to see it develop even further! Its really fun once you get the hang of it, you can perform mini combos with small jabs and body shots and then finish it up with a heavy hook, really fun!

I tried the keyboard controls and they feel ok and you get used to them very easily but I noticed a small bug: when I charge my left arm for a punch the particles still comes from the right glove. Overall experience was pretty good!

I downloaded the demo 2 weeks ago and it worked like a charm. It is super fun and I guess that later playing against someone else is going to be even better. Now, regarding the mouse and keyboard support; I think is a good idea to have that feature because, just like you pointed out, some people might not have a gamepad or some other people, like me, may have a very old gamepad. Whatever the case, I think it is not a bad idea to have more options, I mean, that never hurt anybody right. Keep going man!!! Punch a bunch is a bunch of fun!!! I added it to my StTEAM wishlist btw. Pretty insane advancement! This is a great adventure. I had an idea though - I've been writing neural networks and reinforced learning algorithms in Cpp. I think this could be an epic feature. Got inspired by the amiibo system with Smash. Otherwise, gl with whatever you choose to do next. Been hooked for 9 months :)

Just tried your demo out now that there is mouse and keyboard support. I really do believe you have something here, definitely keep going and push for the eventual multiplayer. I could definitely see this blowing up among Twitch streamers when the multiplayer hits. I look forward to seeing an AI to play against as well, even if it is a not so intelligent AI to begin with it would definitely give people a better taste of the unique feel the combat in your game has.

For the mouse controls, can i suggest having a look at how they do mouse controls in the Mount and Blade Series. It's pretty satisfying and maybe something you can learn from. Keep up the good work, man! You are an inspiration!

With the mouse? That's nice! For keyboard I suggest the R-CTRL and NUMPAD0 to lean left and right, WASD to move about, SPACE for right punch and L-SHIFT for left punch. At least that is how I would map it for my keyboard and gives me vibes from when I played MSDOS games back in my 486 lol

I played the Keyboard version and it was really fun the controls felt intuitive once the mouse sensitivity is set to the right spot. Moving around the ring was enjoyable in and of itself. It's great to see you go through the feedback and make changes. I do think mouse and keyboard input is really important but it's very different than a controller so it can be tricky to make it feel the same, but the sheer number of people that will play because of it is not to be under estimated.

I think you could probably use RB on the controller along with the left analog stick for head movement, while using the buttons for hits [ Meaning you could have more punch variations ].

for the mouse, i think mouse mouse movement should rotate the characters so if its not moving then the body rotates back to the centre so its more like a controller coz when your not moving the joystick it jumps back to the centre

It's just like Rocket League for me and my friends. I play with a game controller, and I wouldn't even consider another way. But some of my friends feel that the mouse and keyboard gives them more control, somehow.
