That only makes it slightly better. Well, depending on how expired it is. Use by dates have a pretty big safety margin. A lot of recently expired food is still just fine. But meat with banana seems like a really weird mix of flavour and texture. Sausage sandwich = awesome Banana sandwich = awesome (banana on toast with honey is also amazing) I'm almost curious to try it because it might not be as gag inducing as it seems. But that is a pretty adventurous blend. And this is coming from a guy who once mixed canned chickpeas, Vegemite and the leftover hot sauce packet from my friends Mi Goreng (as if you wouldn't add the hot sauce its the best bit)
