Matches could be lit up by rubbing the tip on almost anything. You guys spoke about Beavis and Butt-Head which reminded me of Daria, which if you haven't watched, definitely should. Most content, even cartoons revolve around a male perspective. They're all great, which makes it imperative that the other side of it is recognised as well. As a girl growing up on these cartoons, they presented me with male ideals and ideas which we don't really pay much attention to, but distorts the world for us. We see only two options, either reject it and be a girly girl or accept it and become one of the boys, but never really fit in either. Daria was an eye opener, which I stumbled upon way into adulthood and it's absolutely brilliant.
