Nah, what's really insane is how everybody pretends they played old school COD and love it. Arguably people mention BO2 as the best "old game" (in my eyes it's the game that ruined everything and I don't consider it OG) and just last year Activision updated the servers on older console so people could play again. It didn't even last a day and most people were gone. I bet the same would happen with MW/2/3/BO1/WaW

@@Anteater23 Of course you did. That game was full of cheaters on console - they could even derank you. I loved MW2 and even skipped school to play it. I helped find strafe jump spots and glitches. The point is people love to say they wish the old back, but when it happens not many people stay. I highly doubt if they updated MW2 servers on console and maintaned it, lots of people would stop playing fairly quickly. MW 2007 on PC has dedicated servers which are hostable. That means you get admin privileges and can kick and ban people yourself. Also tons of mods that improve movement and more. Barely anybody plays that and you don't need a strong PC for it.

Man I miss those games, the only thing I got left is IW5 where you either go against a diehard while playing with 200 ping (I'm Iraqi) or play against bots, and it's also dying many of the servers where shutdown or only work at specific times if I'm not mistaken.

I'm surprised you actually got into a lobby with enough people to play a game. I tried MW2 and BO1 and I could only get a max of 3-4 people in a lobby. The rest are modded, it's a shame activision and infinity ward pay people to hack their games forcing people to buy the new games

Part of what made classic small maps special is the rarity of playing them instead of having it available in a seperate playlist all the time. People use to cheese the grind and at the same times it makes the devs think we want a game with a majority of the maps like this aka BO6 just because people play it a lot for the grind. Example of data not always being right.

I never understood why the trickshotters dont just go in a private match with bots instead of forcing people into their lobbies. Tip if someone is hacking and disables the pause menu, press start then mash A a bunch until you’re in select class. From there you can press B and leave the game without going to dashboard.

@ nah unfortunately not, but dont worry. Basically freezing your account is just when they corrupt your classes so your game freezes when you go into the choose class screen. It’s only happened once to me, but what you do if that happens is join a lobby that lets you unfreeze your classes. If it ever happens you can hmu, I can help you out with unfreezing them. It’s a very quick fix
