As a combat veteran of OEF 12/13 I can say I have nothing but respect for the soldiers who were the first to enter the war. I can’t even begin to imagine the guilt a lot of the commanders felt when they made the wrong called and got their soldiers killed. Also, for that friendly fire from that air strike has to haunt that pilot daily.
