This is good to know! Thanks for sharing it with us! I hope that it's a bug and will be fixed with an iOS update, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I do hope that we'll either be able to get a programmer for it, or potentially replace it like we do on older ones where we can pop the actual camera out itself.

Hello, I'd like to share my experiences with Iphone 15 PRO front camera repair . I change front camera and reflash to IOS 17.3. After repair you have picture, but auto focus not working. I try two new cameras. On both new cameras auto focus not working. IOS allow me take pictures. IOS not allow you to take video with front camera (only sound is recorded). IOS is also randomly turning of portrait mode on back camera. After change front camera back to original portrait mode on back camera working correctly. Result: Apple not allow you to repair front camera by yourself.

I have this same issue, but even my original camera does not turn on. I bought an OEM camera pull. Replaced it and after restore it still didnt turn on. I did update, and reset settings. Putting the original camera back does not fix the issue either? In 3U tools i can see the iphone is reading the camera serial number. Does anyone have advice on what to try to fix it? Can this be fixed with the programmer device?

iPhones 15’s with all original parts have issues with the front camera. This is a known issue they need to fix it.

@VCCBoardRepairs the front/selfie camera will freeze or lag, and you can't take a photo. It happens to me every day, I have tried several different iPhone 15s, including a pro Max. All have the same issue. When you tap the white button to take a photo, it seems to register as it may take a photo anywhere up to 30 seconds later. The entire ui freezes and doesn't respond. It is completely random though. But happens often enough to make the selfie camera the most unreliable selfie camera I have ever used on a smartphone.

I heard on the 16 they are pairing the screen protector to the screen. if you change the protector you lose the ability to use apple pay
