The British used the Grant variant to great effect in Burma, my beloved Ha-Gos could not compete.

Actually in Burma they had more Lee's than Grants. And a lot of the Grants they had were designated Grants but has Lee turrets

On the point of Easily Catches Fire, I'd actually recommend not taking the M3A3, because Easily Catches Fire basically never comes up. An opponent has to 1) hit you, 2) roll high enough to damage you (or glance), and then 3) roll exactly a 3 or a 6 (if a glance) to even trigger the special rule. So the chance that it even happens is like 3% in any given game, so probably not worth it to pay the extra points to get rid of it.

My favorite tank ever (just looks so cool), and love running it in BA, even if it's not the best option out there. And great at hunting those Recce tanks, as it can trigger multiple units to react with a single order dice.

The Lee was absolutely iconic in the desert war. Read Brazen Chariots by Culp.Who was a South African tank commander during Operation Crusader. It was Culp's driver who nicknamed it the "Honey" because of how nicely it handled in the desert.

Ah yes, the "Iron Cathedral" as opposed to "A coffin for seven brothers". It could acquit itself quite well under the right circumstances. The meatgrinder of the Russian steppe were unfortunately not those circumstances.

US Army- M3 Medium tank, British Army Lee Mk1, Grant Mk1. Both lend lease. Anything else is spreading the fallacy.
