He never made it back despite always promising my brother and I we would go. 12 years after he died I'm about to leave Australia to meet my brother and jump on the ferry. We will scatter some of Dad's ashes on the mountain. To say I'm excited is an understatement...

The TT is like the Grand National, in that you know that someone (at least) isn’t going home to their family. In 2019 I think 3 riders died? No wonder Guy Martin loved it. You have to have a certain part of your brain missing to do it full chat. 😧

This is real racing. They literally flirt with death on a knife edge pushing it to the limit teetering what’s possible and losing it all. This ain’t crash and walk away this any second can be your last. People say there adrenaline junkies shit you ain’t met these guys they live for it. Formula 1, NASCAR, you name it if the stakes were the same as these guys they wouldn’t even show up let alone race. These arn’t racing drivers/riders these guys are hero’s. I found the Isle of Man in 2019 purchased a bike 6 months later. These guys have balls the size of boulders. 🤘🏻
