This certainly is a sexy ass song and Ernie Isley the guitar player was fortunate enough to be a young boy when Jimi Hendrix was playing with the Isley Brothers and lived with them for awhile. I often wished that Hendrix lived long enough to be right in this Soul Funk movement of the early 70s so he could have made something like this. Glad you reacted to this great groove. The whole album is badass.

Ronald Isley did his thing on lead vocals. O'Kelly and Rudolph Isley's harmonizing was always on point. Ernie Isley stepped It up on rhythm and lead guitar 🎸. Baby brother Marvin Isley rocked on on bass. And Isley brother-in-law, Chris Jasper, (who lived a few doors down from the isleys in their hometown of Cincinnati) played the keys 🎹 with mastery. Overall, it was lit!
