The J10 Gets Some Interior and Wheel Test Fit!!!

On todays episode we get most of the interior together for the 78 jeep j10 with a custom clean look to the seat and changing the old color to black for a sleek finish. Then we go on to test fit some tires from Clifford the red truck to see how a set of 35 inch tires looks!!!

nice truck! Ive owned a few over the years and would love another but unlikely to happen. One possible source of parts is FNJeep in Colorado Springs Colorado, he takes in all sorts of jeeps and either flips them or more often parts them out. AllJeeps in Albuquerque NM also has jeep parts, but I dont recall seeing any SJ stuff there. Good luck, I'll be following along

I've got a J3000 that I'll be transitioning to interior work at some point. What did you use for the door seal material? not sure if you have a picture of the profile or link but that would be awesome. Good job on the build! It's gonna be a fun truck! I'm not that good at aesthetic improvements so I will keep watching your work for inspiration!

Thank you for watching! But that's all that matters keeping the truck on the road and having fun with it. I believe what I put on the truck so far is like a door edge guard or also called door edge ribbon. That just covers up the rough edging in the door jamb so we don't hit our head on it lol. But I still gotta find the actual door seals.

Geesh i bet that 100hp 4.2 is screeming for mercy with tires that size. As much as i want a j10 or j20 id never own one with the 4.2. I have a 90 Gw with the 360 and even that 145hp is pathetic and its slow. The 280ft lbs of torque is nice though.. but i could only imagine how slow these things are with the 4.2

We are looking for a 4 speed to help out and if it doesn't work we will be looking for a v8 eventually if the motor doesn't hold up but yeah it is dogish for sure but it makes it around town when you need it
