This is the only response I was looking for - thank you Kenny. Heartbreak Hotel is one of the coldest jams ever. From the musical arrangements, the build up before the beat drops, the way MJ's voice sounds other-worldly and LaToya's ear-piercing scream right at the beginning; makes it an absolute masterpiece and classic track!

I am sitting here blubbering like a baby, this song and the message is so profound. We all have the same blood coursing through our veins and have far more in common than not, if we only took the time to get to know more about one another. Your channel is a perfect way to bring people together because music is universal and no matter what color you are or where you come from it brings people together. Imagine if we could all come together on every issue the same way. What a wonderful world this would be.

I went to the Jackson's Triumph concert August 22, 1981, and cried through the whole thing because I loved Michael so much. This record came out before Thriller (December 1, 1982), when Michael really blew up. I was the orginal fan girl at 10 years old. I can feel the tears welling up, just thinking of that concert. Such amazing talent! Visiting the Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN was a powerful, moving experience, too. I went as an adult, but learned some new things. My favorite exhibit had information about Black people elected to office after the Civil War, before Jim Crow. The failure of Reconstruction is a part of history that is not taught much. The building across the street from the preserved hotel room houses a part of the museum that explores the assassination. You can enter the small room and see the window that JER shot from. That added some context for me.

I was born in 1966. In the early '70s The Jackson 5 had a cartoon. There was another group of brothers, The Osmond Brothers who also had a cartoon. It's that Micheal & Donnie Osmond where always compared to each other. The groups were compared to each other. At the Academy Awards one year Micheal & Donnie were presenters with a couple of little kids. If you can find either the cartoons or the Awards show I would love to hear what you have to say. You guys are fortunate to have been taught African American history & about our culture. Where I was raised, nothing would ever happen like that. It was taboo. What you learned was from home. My mother gave us a good start by having us read up on our history. Our field trips were to plantations and civil war BS. I had a chip on my shoulder 😕. I went to college and took a couple of classes in Afro American studies. I moved to Atlanta and was mind blown 😯😀🎉. I missed alot!

I’m glad that you have grasped the opportunity to learn about your story. The fact that our story is deliberately stolen, hidden, in an attempt to destroy it and erase it from human memory is an abomination and offense to the Most High. His- story only begins at slavery, because he wants you to believe that is what you are here for. He reinforces this idea when he tells lies to your vision, he wants you to only see his view of you as we watch their tel-I-vision. Talk to the elders, read the oldest primary sources you can find, research, seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Obtain printed resource material for your home library, especially if you have children👏🏾👏🏾 Primary source material, is quickly going out of print, and is not always digitized. We will lose it, if we can't pass it on. We are the oldest people on earth before there ever was a Europe and most certainly before there was a European.

May 14th the Hard Rock Casino will be opening in Gary,Indiana and will have a model of Joe Jacksons guitar as the display outside the building, there's also a section of the casino dedicated to the Jacksons with some of their memorbila. I'm looking forward to seeing everything. Thanks for this a good way to start the day peace and hair grease.

My favorite version of this song. I LOVE MLK! HE DIED FOR HIS PEOPLE! He raised a nation to stand up, be proud and to LOVE EACH OTHER, regardless of race. He stood violences In the face and he fought back with his words, heart, education and awareness. I'm glad he can't see,now what we've done. Actually, I think we need him now, more then ever!!!RIP

Wow love your channel! I’ve been binge watching for the past two days. I’m in my 50’s and every time y’all listen to a song I also have the same feelings once again. I’ve gotten chills, cried and felt the beat along with you once more. Thank you. I haven’t seen you listen to any Beatles how about ‘Oh! Darling’ or The Black Crows ‘Remedy’. Stay positive it rubs off on us 💕

I had the pleasure of seeing the Jackson's "Victory Tour", when it came to Jacksonville, FL back in the late 80s. One of the best concerts, I've seen. The most recent concert I saw was in August 2019, Queen with Adam Lambert... Incredible!!

Don't sleep on Jermaine and Rebbie Jackson who had some hits back in the 80s when I was little. Jermaine's "Do What You Do" is still 🔥 and Rebbie's "Centipede" is so different from anything out there but still had some of those characteristic Jackson harmonies. So much fun!

I use to watch the Jackson 5 every Saturday on TV in the U.K. then in 1989 I was on holiday with my sister in Marbella, Spain, and Michael Jackson was in concert there, so we saw him. Amazing.

Saw the Jackson’s Triumph Tour at the Houston Astrodome. I just remember how they all walked down, one step at a time, with each step lighting up, singing this song. I knew I was witnessing history. RIP Michael Jackson. I still can’t believe he is gone.
