The Jaguar Family Tree (3 Generations)

Welcome to a very special video. Today I am going to be showing you my Jaguar Family Tree. This family tree shows 3 generations of jaguar. The cats featured in this tree are very close to my heart and it has been a pleasure watching this family grow!

I've had the pleasure of seeing, photographing and filming all of the jaguars featured in this family tree.

"Beautiful" is an understatement. All these cats are nothing short of magnificent. I'm pulling for Inka to be mated and favor us with cubs as adorable as she was (and still is).

Why did they only have one cub? In my experience most big cats normally have 2 or 3.

the mom (Bess) and dad (Porgy) of Rica are living in Zoo Krefeld (Germany) Rica hase one younger sister Mira(nda) and one younger brother Mato (both spotted)

I’m pretty sure I remember Mowgli being there. And I do remember there being a spotted jaguar there too so perhaps that was Rica

They were indeed. I have video footage of Rica stalking me and recognising me! Mowgli was a good looking cat with the ego to match!

Before Mowgli and Rica moved from Emmen zoo to Artis Amsterdam they have lived indeed in Edinburgh and at Stichting Leeuw (it is simular to the BCS but smaller) because i took a lot of years to finish the enclosure at Amsterdam
