I thoroughly have enjoyed this deep dive so far and have learned many things that I didn't know. I look forward to hearing the "defense" side of this investigation. I wonder what evidence there will be, since obviously lot of evidence was overlooked and many opportunities were missed for being able to actually go back and have a thorough investigation. Thank you, @Williedanielsjr1916 - deeply appreciated. The essential problem is that so much of the crime scene/evidence/clothes were destroyed. The FBI investigation was dreadful. However, there are some details that will blow your mind. Have it ready ASAP.

it's hard to imagine that someone so clever could have left himself exposed in this manner; with no proper heirs/will to bring the case in the eventuality of his death, and with no dead-man's switch in place, (if indeed he had been blackmailing high level US politicians and prime ministers from around the world).

This series I find to be one of the best I've ever listened to on any platform. It's scholarly, perfectly paced and that includes when you advance to the new information, and has a great and classic murder mystery delivery drop or 2 mixed in. Bravo!

I don’t think we should be so dismissive of the possibility of suicide . This man came from such a lifestyle of absolute luxury to what sounds like an absolute hell hole! I wasn’t privileged growing up All I had was a loving family. The shock to my system When I found myself in Jail living with violent offenders who intimidated, abused and prayed on the weak driving them to suicidal actions was surprising . I didn’t know people could be so cruel and hurtful. They would have been at him all day every day knowing A . How rich he was B . His offences He would be promising the world to guys who would normally kill fellow inmates for hurting kids . These promises would have kept him alive unless he eventually refused. I wonder if he managed to move any sums to inmates associates who where on the outside during his time there?
