Good thought! Editing was almost reliving it.

Exactly what I needed to hear. Suffered a couple of losses in the last few weeks and your wise words have put a lot in perspective. Hope our paths cross along this journey. Thank you!

Greetings JR. I’ve recently discovered your channel…inspiring. I too am getting longer in the tooth (lol) and have got back into riding. I resonate with your sentiments. Living in the South Island of New Zealand we (whilst small land wise compared to Your country) have some amazing landscapes. To have the blessing of still riding amongst/through Gods creation is truly a blessing. Thanks again for your videos. Ride Safe . God bless

Thank you so much. Amazing to know the videos reach so far. Riding is keeping me moving forward and engaged. Long in the tooth! Today is Thanksgiving Day here and I have much to be thankful for.

Absolutely stunning! Riding dual-sport motorcycles through the Canyonlands is a dream come true. The mix of rugged terrain, wide-open spaces, and breathtaking views makes this a bucket-list adventure for any rider. Great job capturing the surreal beauty and thrill of the ride!

We already know our destination as believers. I've heard it said it's the dash between the dates on the headstone that you need to make the most of. You are definitely doing that! Another great video thanks for taking us along.

That was an awesome ride JR. Something about the desert, and those views. Thanks for acknowledging your faith and sharing your bond of friendship and brotherly love. I have never seen a desert in person and this video really ignites a longing in me to get out there and witness another marvel of our creator.

Love your videos. But with all due respect faster riders need a Husky 501 or 350 or a KTM 690. A Yamaha WR250R suspension and motor would not be able to handle the faster guys. I use to have a DRz 400 and realized that going at fast speed over tough terrain is not good due to the lack of suspension. I now have a KTM 350 that can handle aggressive riding. The DRZ, Wr250r, CRF etc models are good for new riders or experienced riders just out for a joy ride. Happy Trailing:)
@jrdepew5 күн бұрын
All true. I’m not into speed anymore.. Had the suspension redone and the 250 was a bargain price.

I sure would like to get my hands on those GPS tracks! Also, I would love to ride the Idaho BDR with you next summer! What do you think? 🤙🏼
@jrdepewАй бұрын
I was pretty much just following Brock’s plan but I do have the White Rim track itself. I’ve done the IDBDR more or less 3 times. It’s a good one. Still formulating 2025 plans. Maybe I’ll do something with an invite for others to join?

Enjoyed this ride. 78 and still ride my Tiger 800 although I don’t think I would be a good choice for some of the trails you were on for me. So thinking about a smaller bike for such adventures. A 250 is more than enough in power but kind of looking at the KTM 390 R. 348 lbs. still heavier than the 250 though. Are you done with the 650? Great job on the video and the ride you shared. Have a great winter looking forward to seeing you next year.
@jrdepewАй бұрын
Thanks so much. It's a tough decision on bike selection. I'm hanging onto the 650 for now,. The WR is great for me on the tough stuff. Looking at a new mid weight tool though!
@twowheeladventures63Ай бұрын
@@jrdepew I thought I saw somewhere that you got an Aprilia Tuareg? Maybe it is still a secret :) I have a WR and want to add a 650ish bike to the garage. Always thinking about the DR but I have a few reservations.
@jrdepewАй бұрын
I have a Tuareg but not much time on it. It’s coming!

Hey JR, Which satellite phone or messenger are you using and recommend?
@jrdepew24 күн бұрын
The Garmin Mini InReach. It’s the only one I have experience with. Seems to be the most used. Not a sat phone but a text and emergency communication device via satellite.

The question should be where are the women in this group and why only men ? Women are very adventurous too and ride motorcycles, so, where are they?
