Jay Kordich, formerly known as the Juiceman, shares his knowledge of juicing to the world right when 'videos' were being invented. This is a very rare video, only seen in the early 1980s. It's a compelling lecture on juicing and the last section at minute 19:00, you will see his first son with him, juicing away at only 2 years old!
Jay's mission is to teach, inspire and motivate each of us to consume fresh juices and raise awareness of the link between diet and health. Juicing is an easy way to introduce the proven health benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables into anyone's diet.

Jay came to my house when I was just 12 years old , my mother had sent him a card for more info on juicing, one day he showed up at my door , that was 1966. He brought in an Acme all stainless steel juicer, demonstrated how it worked, making carrot and celery juice. I still juice and have this juicer today and remember Jay as a realy caring person.

Ok so apparently he was 62 years old when lil Jay was born...i found an interview from a couple years back....here's the portion where they talk about him being a "later dad" - -You were 62 years old when you became a father….what did it feel like? Did you know others who were also “later” dads? Yes, I was 62 years old when my son John was born in 1984. That was such a remarkable moment for me. I felt like I wasn’t just watching a new life begin - I also saw in my son’s eyes that a new life was stirring within me. I had basically been a vagabond for most of my adult life, and had been unmarried for much of that time. When I met my wife Linda in early 1981, I knew right away she was going to be my wife. She must have felt the same because we married in Mexico within 24 hours of our first “Hello” (laughs). Linda and I knew that we had a mission and purpose in life far greater than ourselves. And when I looked upon the face of our first of two children together, I felt absolutely blessed by the greatest gift God could give anyone. It was the gift of life, and the chance at a new beginning. Every day brings us one; you know . . . every time the sun rises, that’s another beginning just waiting for us. -Your wife is considerably younger than you…..how was it being a “later” dad with a younger wife? I have never looked at age as a detriment, an obstacle, or even a deterrent in my life - no matter what age I am. I was already 57 years old when I met Linda. And at that time, I was the racquetball champion for men 55 and older at my gym and was working at least 60 hours a week. But I didn’t consider it to be work at all, since I was in superior health and was embracing my life’s passion. The first time I saw Linda just over 32 years ago, I knew I had met my soul mate. So being a “later” dad with a younger wife has no meaning for me whatsoever. Our love, and the love with which we raised our children, remains timeless and has never gotten old. And our shared commitment to a vital and healthy life means that she and I have always lived entirely on the same wavelength . . . and at the same energy level. If you were to become a “later” father in this day ‘n age, do you think the experience would be different than it was for you and other later fathers when you first became a parent? No, I don’t think it would be different at all. And remember, I don’t regard myself as a “late” father at all. I believe that I truly became a father at precisely the right time for me, and that was when Linda came into my life and we had our two sons together.

Thanks Jay, for all the work you have done, bringing the truth to the world. The information we are just hearing about today in the news, you knew about fifty years ago! You are exceptional because you actually live what you talk about. At an age when most men were popping pills and breaking down, you were actually starting a family! You will never know how you've helped me and many others, through your life's work. Your impact runs far and deep. Thank you. Robin Cobb

Both him and Jack LaLanne lived fairly healthy into their 90s, Jack 96 and Jay 93. I believe both died of complications to pneumonia. Jack’s wife is 95 and still in great shape

@@JM-uo5vp - thanks I still have 2 of his juiceman products. I also still use his favorite juiceman recipes. He left all of us with his intelligence on juicing. I will continue that legacy...

Several years ago I did drink carrot and cucumber juice for a month and I noticed my skin was really healthy and clear and my hair was thicker. I feel energized when I drink fresh vegetable juice but I can't seem to keep up with it on a regular basis.
