❤ WONDERFUL ADVICE.❤...since most of us hold onto our old painful thoughts, including grudges, etc... not knowing what to do with it, nor how to get rid of it, ....while others hold onto it, too scared to let go, and so live in the past.....holding them back....can't move forward. Stuck in the past!!.....the mistakes humans make...Very destructive to ourselves. ALL IN THE MIND. THE ALL POWERFUL MIND does exactly what we instruct it to do... .. subconsciously. So yes....LET GO, RELEASE.....and live a happier life. Difficult...but possible. Needs to be done sooner rather than later ❤😊

I started realising this in my early 30s , when God was turning the greatest pain of my life to open me up and to awaken me.. I’m still learning to let go of negative thinking but consciously being aware of the thoughts and realising that these thoughts are not mine has helped me not to be controlled by these old patterns to a huge extent . Being aware is a huge blessing and I’m grateful for this awakening ❤

Meditation allows you to let go. Each moment is the only moment you have whether you are alone or in a relationship. When we think, we change the present moment into what we want while we are thinking. How each person thinks about the relationship will determine if it lasts. I have learned to think less without even meditating. I paint, write, walk, karate, etc., and enjoy each moment without making it into anything by thinking.

Yes! What we don’t usually realize is that many of us are drawn to negative thoughts, feelings, emotions that has caused us some type of undesired trauma in the form of betrayal, neglect, abuse, or abandonment and we’ve all experienced these things to some level or degree that has kept it alive within our subconscious mind, and many of us don’t even acknowledge that or the fact that we’ve become addicted or drawn toward these negative or undesired emotions/ feelings. It’s sad, but can be healed or released from this.

I realized sometime ago that we as people are all doing the best we can to get through life, we make mistakes, in my case huge mistakes, not on purpose, but out of either ignorance or unconsciousness. Forgiveness has been a liberating force in my life. Letting go is like taking a huge backpack full of heavy rocks off your back, it not only feels better, lighter, but that energy was freed up to do other things like meet new friends, friends who needed a friend.

@@SuperstarSridhar It can take many years. I read Eckhart's book a decade ago. It took me ten years to let go of ego (awaken). Now, there is no emotional pain. Earlier, the emotional pain was always present. Arising of negative thoughts & negative emotions is extremely rare now. Buddha was right when he said suffering is optional. I still can't believe I did it. It's like when you are trying to ride a bicycle. You fall over & over again. Same happens here. Get up again & again. And one day you will be shocked that negativity of any sorts is not arising anymore.

Feeling is an information between motivation and a goal. If you got into a situation that caused you negative feelings or trauma and its still alive after months, it means somewhere in your experience is still some crucial information you haven't extracted yet and you really need to do it so you don't end up in the same miserable place next time. Cutting anything off is not a good idea. Your feelings are invaluable source of information if you know how to understand them. Also, feelings dont go away just because you dont think about them. They go away when they fulfill their purpose - after you understand them.
@sarahdgreatday
@sarahdgreatday Жыл бұрын
I think he is saying that feelings are fed by thoughts and when a feeling thought loop is generated and maintained by continuing those thoughts, the thing to do is to stop thinking those habitual hurtful thoughts. When we stop fueling the hurtful feeling fire with our repetitive thoughts this fire dies out. The feeling helps point to the thought and that is the message of the feeling. It helps identify the beliefs to which you cling. Identifying the beliefs is further useful formation to eventually extinguish the thoughts and beliefs that hurt you. When you fix your beliefs you can fix your thoughts, when you fizx your thoughts, you fix your feelings. To choose and discipline our thoughts is the journey of a lifetime and beyond. I wish for all of us the grace and endless endurance required to engage in that most vital labor.

@oolala53 2 ай бұрын
If you say the feeling of the sensations in the body need to be respected, I completely agree. The thought appearing needs to be respected for its existence, but not for the truth of its content, which is often not accurate, especially denigrations of our character.

Basically the goal is to not care or develop a sense of indifference toward whatever that painful experience or memory that your thinking about. There are so many triggers and reminders that caused us to reflect back on painful and also joyful experiences which can be intertwined with one another when there is loss, neglect, or separation from what you or who you loved and find yourself cut off from. The harder and deeper and more love you have to another(s), the harder and deeper the feeling of loss is. So you look at those more troubling memories with that person and feel regret and remorse and when you look at the more enjoyable memories and experiences with that person and no longer have that you also feel the same when you’re missing the person and dealing with the loss and wanting to reunite and regain those enjoyable and memorable experiences again

Yessss!!!! When you are positive, you create a positive life. Now, not that everything always goes according to plan. You have to be open, like a river cutting your own path. You can be rushing or slow moving for some relaxation. But just do not be completely still, that’s when mosquitoes are born and the water becomes stagnant. Always flow, always be open, and always carve your path! Remember you are amazing and everyday is a new day to make it the best possible!! ❤️❤️🫶🏻

Some scientists have hypothesize that at one point in our evolution, being aware of threats, and danger was very important, so those who were more conscious of those negative evaluations survived. Eventually, that kind of thinking got transferred from real, present dangers, to the status of the person in the tribe because, so much depended on cooperation among the group for survival. Some spiritual teachers will say that our longing for approval and depreciation by others is because our consciousness has chosen to identify with separation, and that longing for connection is actually a desire to have the awareness of our innate universality and safety returned to the forefront of our attention. but it’s likely this separate person has no control over this process; it’s simply unfolding at whatever pace it is.

Me too, even though I’ve heard this so many times. I was actually able to use something similar to thwart my compulsive over eating. I established what I thought was a reasonable eating plan to nourish myself well and also deliver some pleasure, and that any eating outside of that was coming from thought patterns that were not accurate. I won’t say that it was comfortable all the time, but I used to do things like eat a whole package of chocolate chip cookie dough or make a batch of chocolate buttercream frosting and eat the whole thing or eat a half a gallon of ice cream at time. I haven’t had any of those things in several years and honestly, I don’t care if I ever do again. I never thought I would feel that way, but there was just no real satisfaction in the experience, even after a while when I just ate small amounts. But my pattern of fear of loneliness and a sense injustice is way stronger. I’m glad I stumbled on this video to remind me about questioning the viability of anxious thinking doing me any good. But it does take a kind of trust in a level of uncertainty. and we actually have no guarantees that distressing situations are not going to arise, even seemingly from our own actions.

It is not true that thinking is not useful. Certain kinds of thinking are not useful, normally the kind of narrative self commentary that can go on constantly, judging ones owns actions and those of others in a personal way, rather than impersonal which you might have to do in a job situation. This is not to say that there might be some kind of unconscious perception and wisdom, but a fair amount of that is eventually delivered to the conscious mind.

So the funda here is that we live in a world where we can't stop negative thoughts to come like if i want to build a new habit and not do it forcefully but happily then we feel self doubt 1. Become aware the moment we feel this and bad feeling by fearing the future like oh to achieve this habit i will have to fo hard work, will i be able to put hard work and then we start feeling bad and we attract the same. So the first step is becoming aware 2. Now we need to acknowledge it and replace it with positive thoughts by saying affirmation like i am confident, i believe in my abilities that i have strong mindset and belief that i approach challenges with positive mindset and visualize that what personal growth my goal is giving me

Yes its probably the best book I've ever read. I imagine if everyone read it we would be living in a much better world. That book brought 2 miracles into my life not long after reading it. 15 years later I've just started reading it again.

@@nancy8219... perhaps not a lie but a slightly naive and maybe foolish? 🤔 For instance I personally think that feelings can be a really good indicator of your emotional state at that moment, so essentially I am completely agreeing with you (I just don't know if I would have used the word lie).

If you can take the pain and realize it was a sad lesson, you can appreciate that it was an unplanned experience. It was a human occurrence, lay no blame . Feel just nostalgia, and feel love and send love. You are ok now. Embrace your life for what it is.
