Lots of gems -- great interview and content. My favs: 10:37 - Role of manager and artist. When I started that was something we could have used. And 25:44 - Story pitching. I'm big on the brand and "story" you present and feel that is so important in all businesses. That is something I find writers (as in books) don't think about much. "If I write a great book" they will come syndrome.

my favorite part is when Drew said he likes not knowing what he is doing the day of sometimes, and he likes it like that, I can relate because its how i feel about doing video series stuff, I feel like it locks me in, and I'm to creative at times to be locked in, so I decided to just create consistent content (when I launch this new campaign at the end of June), and let it be housed under a series name, but let my creativity run wild. we will see if that works😉

@@thecymaticsshow6659 Actually yes! As the music industry is really built on relationships and already being in the business, what would be the best way to put a foot in the door? I imagine getting to know bigger artists helps (like via Facebook or other platforms) but what other ways or more niche ways would you recommend? I am currently using Soonvibes (french music A&R system based on votes) and their professional feedback system to get my music heard by big guys like Counterstrike (Label owner and DnB DJ/producer).

My favourite part was at 28:40 when y'all were talking about the copywriting part, it never came to my mind before. In my Instagram page we used to write basic captions when releasing a track and not using many hashtags to get going, but now have to go about it again. Also, whenever we tried to get to a big label we usually got a response like "Your track is great, but right now we don't want to have it. Send us your other tracks too, maybe something can come up". Maybe this was happening due to lack of mail writing skills? Looks like I have to do some homework about it. Also had a question on getting yourself on Spotify, I have been looking around and got Amuse as the answer, but are there any other apps or service that can help for free for creating a artist profile on Spotify? And thanks for this awesome video!🙌🏻

Personally I don’t feel like branding for myself, as I only want my “products” as a hobby and don’t want “anything serious” with my music. Although I still think it’s interesting to hear about how to promote yourself, and get the basic idea of an example schedule. But I think my favorite part was when Drew said he only followed Cardi B for her brand, and not so much for her music, as she’s tending hard atm - it’s actually interesting that some only follow for how people become successful and become inspired by others’ success.
