Hey everyone, I wanted to address something some of you have pointed out. It appears that we made an editing error around 44:40 into the video, which resulted in an unintentional misrepresentation of information. In the script and the original recording, I said studies show that significant percentage of CSA victims go on to become offenders themselves. The number is around 35%. We did not intend to imply that child victims *will* offend.

@@wmdkitty Mmmh, I think there's a good reason to suspect it WAS Katy proudfoot. Sebastian is most likely dead and it's more likely that it was accidental. "Missing Child" isn't great for Chris' custody battle and like Aiden pointed out, it's not a "plan A" sorta idea. I think it's likely that either Chris or Katy was "discipling" Sebastian, got too violent and then the two decide they had to cover it up. Katy would have reason to turn on Chris and spill if Chris was the one who hit him that final time. If it was Katy who hit and killed him, Chris covering it up would be advancing his agenda to get his daughter; being married to a child-killing women isn't good for a custody battle either. A single hit to the head could be lethal since Sebastian had a serious condition with fluid in his brain. Katy could have very well hit him once and 'popped' the cyst. She was clearly fine with Chris beating Sebastian with a belt, she'd probably be fine with hitting him on the back of the head herself. And when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter which Proudfoot hit Sebastian the lethal time, they're both culpable for Second Degree murder now. Possibly First Degree murder, depending on how Tennessee splits hairs with "after the fact" planning of a crime. The He-said-she-said the two of them will use to try and pin the other is meaningless, they'll both try to claim it was the other and that they were coerced into helping cover it up. Ultimately, the state will charge them both equally since they're both in on it. Anyway, I think it actually leans more on Katy since she would have more reason to turn on Chris since Sebastian is HER child. The fact that shes sticking with Chris implies she has a reason to. I think that reason is SHE did it and Chris is using that as leverage. Either way, I doubt it was premeditated by Chris to get rid of Sebastian. "Losing your stepson" doesn't look good for the custody battle, but it's better than "accidental death of disabled child in the household". He'd have reason to cover it up after the fact, not to pre-plan the killing. He WAS already trying to get rid of Sebastian, passing him off to Seth. The death was a wrench in the plan and now they're trying to save as much face as possible, play the victims. BTW, I like your khajiit user picture.

Another thing to consider is that shortly after Sebastian went missing (before their interviews online or in the media) Chris called Nina to tell her about Sebastian going missing. He had missing for two days max I believe. They were due to be in court shortly from that phone call he made to her. 1. Nina made reference to security cameras inside the Proudfoot home he shared with Katie. 2. Nina told Chris that they have court soon and she needs to call her lawyer about this. And according to Nina, she said he yelled at her saying “we aren’t having court!!” Indicating that he won’t be able to make it because Sebastian won’t be found before court. How would he know this? How would he know that he won’t be at court? It was about a week away. And Sebastian was gone only two days max at that time. This alone screams to me that something awful happened. And Nina also said she felt Chris was holding back and wanted to talk to her more about the entire situation. She felt utterly uncomfortable and did what she could to get off the phone and didn’t want to hear it. So she ended the call and he spoke nothing more about Sebastian missing. If my idea of the timeline of events he was down or over spending 17 hours getting his travel trailer and bring it back to Hendersonville. However it’s only a seven hour max drive both ways to and from including gas fill ups. He has ten hours of unverified time during the time he made the phone call to Nina.

Every time I see that picture of Sébastien, my heart just aches for him. He reminds me of my son at 15, they have a similar look. An autistic child (we didn't get him diagnosed until he was 16) can be very difficult to raise, esp when we didn't know he was autistic. We just thought he was a child with behavioral problems and we struggled and struggled to raise him with proper discipline and help him to find happiness. The thing about calling vs not calling CPS is easily explained. A LOT of people won't call if they aren't 100% sure something bad is happening because the system has a horrible tendency to remove children from perfectly safe, happy homes while leaving kids in awful conditions where they are. Calling CPS just to cause trouble for a family is also not uncommon.
@KaeYoss3 ай бұрын
Not in the case of teachers, who are required by law to report child abuse. Add that to the neighbors not calling and the claim that the mother never called CPS because Seth controlled all of her communication and the most likely scenario, by a wide margin, is that she's lying. He controlled all of her communications? Including in the Navy? Yeah right! She doesn't come off as this scared, mousy wallflower that was terrorized by "evil Seth".
@maemccleary32833 ай бұрын
CPS is an epic failure, because of the trains you listed. Sometimes it seems like they only want "undamaged" children. Why would that be? Yep, it's completely random as to if you get a good CPS worker or not, if there's a good one to get. I know these agencies are massively underfunded and understaffed and that's why it happens, but it's so depressing to think about all the kids who never get help because they're kid number 89 on a case worker's list for the day.

The sad thing is so many people DO get trafficked, r worded, abused, and unalived in the foster care system so victims can rarely find relief. Our world is twisted inside out.

I came for the dog cameo, was very grateful during the first few minutes. Also this whole thing is an incredible shitshow that is super difficult to follow, thank you for making it as clear as you can

Your conclusion what happened is EXACTLY what I have been saying since I first heard of this case and that was back in March. And I also thought back then their plan was to "find" Sebastian after Faith went home but it got so blown up in the public eye and now they don' know what to do.

This is your best yet guys. I have a feeling your efforts are going to shed some light on this case. I’m sending up a prayer for Sebastian, his family and the Lore Lodge family. Keep it up 🙏

what i will say as a neurodivergent person (adhd) who experienced CSA as a young child, kids WILL repeat the behaviors done to them ESPECIALLY around the age of when the assault occurred. for me i was 6 and was extremely hyper sexual and made inappropriate advances with the other girls in my class/daycare. but once i moved and was out of that environment of my abuser, i literally almost completely blocked it out and stopped that behavior. that might’ve been just my particular coping mechanism but i wouldn’t say its unlikely to say sebastian did similar things as a kid. kids who are hurt and dont get the help they need at the time will often repeat the behavior to try and bring attention towards it in a desecrate way too. i did that with my parents when it happened and with friends too. and sebastion who yall previously said struggles talking with adults and being autistic, really just struggled to communicate in general, those were like cries for help. truly i hope he is found soon and i pray he is put with his father until whatever the hell is going on in that home is figured out.

I feel like often it’s very black or white. On one side, it’s your experience and on the other the child wants nothing to do with any kind of touch. Like children with an addict parent often either become an addict themselves or is vehemently against any sort of alcohol or drug. I hope that you have a good support system and is living your best life, creating amazing happy memories.

Ill admit to being critical of some of your videos in the past but you've done a tremendous job with this series. I only hope that poor kid is breathing.
