Mike Kuczala has hit the nail on the head! Blood flow to the brain, and movement associated with learning is the key to success for not only our children, but for all ages! Thanks for laying it out for us!

Educators who trust the research and in their own intuitive sense that the brain body connection is real - and act on that knowing by implementing thoughtful physical activity into their classrooms - will be more effective teachers. Movement is not only fun and engaging, but also helps build relationships and increase achievement. I especially appreciated hearing about the role movement can play in motivation.

Mike Kuczala is at the forefront of Kinesthetic Learning in schools. His ideas have shaped thousands of teachers classrooms in the PA, NJ, and MD area. I hope that this momentum pushes nation wide.

This was great! I love 14:07 in which he talked about how answering questions with the body could be a good assessment tool.

Hope you post it again solving the sound problems. It is low and sometimes I think there was no sound at all... the subtitles saved me... Great content, too important

Love this information. I agree with everything and hope this becomes a constant in the classroom. Well done Mike Kuczala.

He is definetly right about his speech. Students (especially primary and middle school students) love to move during the lesson. Also I realized that the more they move, the more they learn easily. :)

Thank you so much for this information. It is an extremely valuable message. Please be sensitive to the kids who have organ failure vs. the kids who develop TYPE 2 diabetes. Your message does not differentiate between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and continues to lead to the ignorance of the educational community regarding the children whose bodies have attacked their pancreas and left them having to regulate their own blood sugar 24 hours a day. Thank you.

Here are some additional movement-oriented activities I have tried in the classroom: toss a ball to speak, whiteboard writing and drawing board always open for students to take notes on or comment on class work during the period, acting/performing, board games, class murals, meditation/mindfulness, charades (act out an answer or character), debates, play dog design, Jenga block design, role playing, sketch comedy, mock trials, and cooking... any others anyone can think of?

I absolutely agree. I conduct polls and request student feedback and then use that to inform my instruction regularly. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!--you're my first commenter!

Perception images we create from and in the brain can effect the body. Learning happens from the feet And immigrates to the top of the brain. Thanks for 👠⛑️🥊🥋🛼⛹🏾‍♀️🤽🏽‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏅🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎹🎷🎷🎷🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

I agree that this method of teaching is great. Great option! But I am thinking that the difference would be the volume of information I learn from reading Vs. using kinesthetics? I can read much more information?

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES MUST BE REVISED TO LESSEN STRESS DEVELOPED IN STUDENTS AND MAXIMIZE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT. WHY NOT INSERT PEER-TUTORING CLASSES, INTEGRATE SUBJECTS THAT ARE CLOSELY RELATED, AND MINIMIZE STRESS ACQUIRED BY TEACHERS IN CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT. ADMINISTRATORS KNOW QUITE WELL THAT CLASS-SCHEDULING ARE ONE 'DEBIITATING FACTOR IN THE LEARNING PROCESS BUT THEY'RE PROBABLY WAITING FOR ANOTHER CENTURY TO IMPLEMENT THE CHANGE.

I wish this was louder, I even used a headset but have some trouble... "We can always turn down the volume but can't get it turned up past max". Help those with low tone hearing loss.

My kid goes to an art school and they are exempt from physical education. Me and many of the men who are parents there think this is wrong. The boys are wiling out every day on the campus with no sport to play. They play "handball" against the one wall. I want to build;d a court in the middle of the night.
