@@JasonBrant Ackerman was an absolute legend. He was a literary agent for Asimov and Bradbury (among other legends), he is credited with coining the term "sci-fi," his name was used for a reporter character in the 1933 short story "Reign of the Superman" by future Superman comic book creators Siegel and Shuster who were friends and colleagues of his (possibly an inspiration for Clark Kent), and he was good friends with Ray Harryhausen! He helped to create the idea of fandom (he had an 18 room house just for his movie memorabilia) and he wore what is considered the first cosplay in 1939 at the first World Science Fiction Convention.

This one was a lot of fun. The movie itself seemed fine, maybe not the most over-the-top action throughout, but your reactions were, for me, the most entertaining thing. Love how Jason & Erin jumped ALL OVER Brian for his "at least he doesn't make himself invincible" line, only for him to be redeemed at the end. Erin flubbing "legit" and giving us "legoot"(t-shirt), Brian staying true to his gimmick & taking a bathroom break during the most exciting part... Classic Brian. Seeing Sid at the height of his powers is always a treat. Randomly cutting Erin off at the very end of the vid... I'll assume that was you, Jason. You know, cuz you don't listen to her anyway.😉😁 Also, Erin killed it with that Magic Spoon ad. Some nice editing there. I've never really considered trying Magic Spoon because I'm not at all a health guy, but the way she described the nostalgic quality of it actually piqued my interest in giving it a go. Well done.

I think you would enjoy a martial arts movie called Kill or Be Killed, which stars South African martial artist James Ryan as Steve Hunt as he takes on a Nazi who lives in a Karate Castle in the middle of the South African desert where he plays host to a karate tournament against his Japanese rival who is named and I kid you not... Mr. Miyagi. There is also a dwarf named Chico who is in fact, the man. The film also has a sequel titled Kill and Kill Again which is the cheapest Enter the Dragon ripoff you've ever seen. Characters from Kill or be Killed appear as different characters, including the main character who is now named Steve Chase (Hunt and Chase, get it?), but Chico does not return and none of the team that the hero spends a good chunk of screen time assembling ever actually does anything. There is also a little casual racism thrown in for good measure.

To be fair, many astronauts (especially the ones already into their career) have dad bods. Look for example Scott Kelly, he was one of the most active NASA astronaut and he's pretty puffy. 9:58 - The Imperial March is strangely very similar to a short music intro of an episode of a very old TV show from the '60. Nobody is brave enough to point fingers against John Williams but when you listen to it, it's hard not to have doubts (you can listen to the song "Your Woman" by White Town to have an idea). Sooo, from that I learned not to discard anything as an influence however unlikely that is (though this movie is terribly unlikely).
