Shame you can only enjoy it on private land but have to be on the right side of the law, silly or not. It does look really good and I keep looking at the prices hoping for further price drops as they are out of my range at the moment. To get 80 miles, albeit in ideal conditions is immense and good to know that the battery is going to be safe while recharging. I love the look of the bike and I think all bikes should have a bell by law to warm people you are coming off road, I am sick to death of being told "out the way". Also love the fat tyres, which makes we wish I still had my old mountain bike and only negative for me it does not fold, which is a dam shame, cheers Alan

Yeah, it's a decent bit of kit mate if you have somewhere you can ride it - some places let you pay to enter so that's all good. Our legislation is a bit behind other countries, esp the states but I'm sure it will evolve. ATB pal.

I'm very impressed with this one, some quality bikes coming out now isn't there. Looks like something I could use. Perfect for the Lakes and some of these mountain trails

Decent kit mate, but needs to be private land - so not even legal on those places.....

Very nice E bike. Plenty of useful features. I know you go over them anytime you do an E bike review but I always find it interesting the requirements that the UK has put in place for E bikes that travel on public hi ways. ATB.

Yeah, we have some of the most restrictive laws re ebikes - it's a shame as I think they're aimed at deterring the likes of Sur Ron e-motorbikes which are a totally different kettle of fish - standard, yet more powerful ebikes would be an amazing (and green) form of transport for many!

I cant help but laugh at the law makers in the UK, your not allowed to have an electric bike with a motor power over 250W, not allowed to go over the speed limit of 15mph, yet they allow the import of electeic bikes with over 250W motors with high power and with high speeds into the country, i own a Rad runner small cargo bike used for towing a bike trailer, it can reach a speed up to 22 mph, police have seen it and was told they where only interested in youngsters being silly on the roads on the high powered surron ebikes, the bike has been programed not for speed but only for towing a large amount of camping gear.

To me, it doesn't make sense - I can easily pedal faster than 15.5 mph on a road bike - so who knows. I guess for now, it is what it is and these bikes can only be enjoyed on private land.

He won't be going near it 😂 it's very much limited in terms of where you can use it, but DYU have a full range of other bikes which can be used on roads etc
