At the risk of sounding like someone who's actually invested in these kinds of movies, Elle should have ended up with Marco. Not only did she have better chemistry with him, and more in common, but it would have broken the old cliche. The sequels to these movies are always this same plot. Girl and guy who got together in first film go through a rough patch, new guy catches girl's eye, she thinks about pursuing the new guy, but ultimately goes back to the first guy. They could have broken that trend, but no, they had to drive on through the old cliche. I guess that's all these films are. The same basic and cliche story with a new window dressing.

isabel Rachel isn’t jealous she just doesn’t like always being out second and forgotten by her boyfriend, he forgot about their fate, forgot to tell her about the Halloween costume, and she gets that they’re friends but she just wants SOME alone time with her boyfriend.
