This song is a technical masterpiece. Every member is showcasing complete technical mastery of their vocal instrument. The choreography is a masters thesis. The instrumentals are heavily metal influenced. The slap bass is insane. This project is an absolute perfect project

@@Samthane Their case might be different, 3 years is about the norm for contract renewals usually but they did renew a whole year before expiration. Did they add time to that remaining year? Is that year just gone and they start a new timer with the new contract? We don't really know, but it's safe to assume they probably gonna be active for another 3 years yeah.

Another 7 years of being active as a group might be a bit of a stretch, as some members are going to be in their 30s in a few years; they might want to settle down/retire or go on different paths eventually. Maybe in their later years, they will still be officially Dreamcatcher members, but they won't perform together as often anymore (less comebacks) and will be more active individually.

"i want to stop it and talk but the song is too epic" yes, this song is the most "anime sound" they have done over the past years, the combo of pre-chorus + chorus and the bridge + last chorus is really a rollercoaster emotion, it feels like they make you fly in the sky and then when chorus start they smash us with their strong vocal so fantastic.

Another one of the unique parts of their music show performances for this comeback is the amount of smiling they do while performing Bon Voyage! It's not something you usually have to comment on, but it was so emotional for Dreamcatcher to reach this point

19:49 they did something similar in Boca where she stepped off to the side to hit her high note even in the MV. I like that they tailor the choreo in that way because it shows there's coordination between the choreographer, music director etc instead of just everyone doing what they think looks good in a vacuum

I feel like Dreamcatcher has the most amazing career story to follow. From starting as a cute concept group in a small company, find little to no success. Re-debut from scratch with 2 new members and a completely different concept, and not even a popular concept in the industry. Stick to that concept no matter instead of trying to milk whatever is popular. Former company trainee who made waves in PD48 and got eliminated gave up on her idol dream to become DC's choreographer, stage director and friend for the entire journey. Find new producers who stuck with them basically this entire time too even if there was years of not much profit going on. Get shafted on music shows multiple times. Worldwide fandom steadily growing. Almost lost a member, but she came back right in time to get the first win with them. Incredible noticeable growth even after so many years. They're probably the group with the least amount of haters, and the least toxic community in the entire industry. Most touching first wins speeches. Growing recognition even in Korea. RENEWED THEIR CONTRACT A WHOLE ASS YEAR BEFORE EXPIRATION who does that in this business? Still evolving, still getting better, and even after a release so good it would be a perfect final song, there is still a long way to go and many more awesome moments to come. What a ride, cheers somnias.

Lyrically it feels like the story of Dreamcatcher's own personal apocalypse, told from 3 different perspectives: 1) Pre-debut Dreamcatcher (also known as Minx), who are at their lowest point in their careers and who have to make a choice. Give up their dream or re-debut as Dreamcatcher with a completely different image and sound. (verses) 2) Post-debut Dreamcatcher, who are treating every day as their last, going full speed ahead with their new image and sound, while leaving their Minx era image behind. (chorus) 3) Current day Dreamcatcher, a blend of both Minx and Dreamcatcher, who are looking back with pride and love at both versions of themselves. (intro, pre-chorus, bridge and final chorus) ❤ Alternatively in the climate apocalypse context: Nature is dying, humanity is at a crossroad. If we make the right changes and choices now, and make sure we stick to them and never give up, then in the future humanity can become one with nature and look back at ourselves with pride and love. You did a better job of analyzing the video then i ever could, so i'll just say it's the best looking one they've made. Sound wise, J-Rock/anime intro Dreamcatcher is back!❤

The opening, then the pre-chorus with that "maybe you don't but I love you" OMG, and then the chorus hitting the way it does!!! With Siyeon vocals!! PERFECTION. Great reaction as always. Yes this comeback has hit differently. It's intense, euphoric and emotional and really is up there with their best title tracks. The album is fantastic too, easily one of their best. The revamped production team, now that LEEZ has moved on, have really delivered the goods and this bodes well for Dreamcatcher's future. Two wins as well for Bonvoyage and over 100,000 albums sold really does cement them as one of the best girl groups out there.

I've been waiting for your reaction ever since the song dropped HAHA! Wish it was earlier so I could appreciate everything a bit more while I was in Korea for the comeback but it was a great experience again either way. Dreamcatcher is such a staple force in kpop now. And it was great being on the shows with them when they got their 2 wins. Besides their great music he girls are also just so genuine its refreshing! For me the absolute killer part is at 4:07 when that spiced up "Bonvoyage" from JiU kicks in and especially the dance moves they do at that part. Whats that effect called they use on JiU's voice at that part? They're just bam bam bam, so sharp and spicy and super fast. You should watch the dance version as well if you haven't! Also when he was like "what is that chorus???!!" for the first one I was like "bro wait for the real chorus" HAHAHA Also what I noticed from being at the live shows is that Dreamcatcher actually has a transition in their last chorus as the highest point where the confetti guns make actually sense to shoot out. For other groups the guns spit the confetti but if you didnt see it you wouldnt notice because there's literally nothing changing in the song. Dreamcatcher is just like "BAM". There's a great photo from the "Green Concert" when SuA is "holding" one of the fireballs from the flamethrowers instead of confetti guns. And I have absolutely no clue what the production costs for the company in total for a comeback like that are but if you look at all the opportunities they use to make people buy albums (and ofc the horrendously competitive video calls) you know they get a lot of money back. When you tell us the making of the MV must be really expensive I'm glad to know they actually invest that money back in the group!

The reason Siyeon was in the background at the end instead of with the group is because her character died protecting SuA from that weird destructive energy wormy-dealy. It's also why she has so many lonely solo shots and isn't in any of the group shots for the rest of the video except for the very end when the world is reborn. It's also why SuA is alone in the same location and runs away to chase after the dove (a symbol of hope) and the environment is obliterated behind her as she jumps for the bird.

BONVOYAGE is their best title track and Demian is their best b-side, it has to be said, lol! Thematically, it's also cool that it's optimistic, as opposed to Piri and Odd Eye, as it's about wishing to go on the voyage of saving the planet with enthusiasm, while asking for support from the listener, while in Piri they stay trapped in the Mansion of fears, while in Odd Eye they realize it's futile to try to change people. So, it's a cool departure, pardon the pun, while also serving as somewhat of a double meaning, as it can also sort of be lyrically interpreted as having the desire to continue with their career as Dreamcatcher after the contract extension, especially considering Reason.
