I recommend the whole album I don't think there's one duff song on it, you need to listen to Looking Glass next it's another masterpiece on the album. Noel Gallagher was a fan of The La's and you can hear it too in his music the influence that band had on him. I suggest you listen to Michael Head & The Strands and also the band called 'Shack' (another Michael Head fronted band) and yet another great lost songwriter, they have that same acoustic vibe and great lyrics.

This was a great album! My favorite song off of here was “I Can’t Sleep”. One of those albums that makes my heart ache for my youth.

A great band and sadly they called it a day but still we have ex LA's member John Powers band 'Cast' as a bonus, they are possibly my fave band of the Brit pop era and would be well worth your time...

This debut is on par with the Stone Roses, The Wondermints, R.E.M., The Shins, and The Wonder Stuff as truly great debuts... with hardly a weak song in the bunch. Fantastic from beginning to end. The La's were like a shooting star... there... and never to return. Brilliant stuff.

sorry to dig up covered ground but really timeless melody (Unreleased Single Pre-Mix) with headphones is the only way to hear this track. this version pales in comparison
