Hey Josh, another great video, congrats on such an awesome style, watched a few videos now and love your cinematography. I have a question, your Cafe du Cysliste Audax jacket you wore in this film, Norway and The Pilgrimage, how waterproof is it? I have one and am yet to wear it as I am not sure how waterproof it is or if I would overheat.
@Josh-ReidАй бұрын
It’s a great jacket, would be ok in light showers but not designed as a waterproof. A warm layer for cold autumn days.

Incredible! Is there any way of downloading the GPX to this route? I'd love to ride it someday. (Edit: oops sorry, missed the Strava link in description!)

Scenery looks amazing and i guess that statement answers what i am about to say. I always like the idea of doing an event of this type - but why do planners put in sections that people of your ability have to "hike a bike" - what chance have us mere mortals got?

Hats off to anyone who tried it, and a massive congratulations to all that completed it. But, why? It looks horrible! Rather you than me. 😂

Hi Josh , are you going to do a review of the coros Dura? Keen to know what it's like for bikepacking, in particular does it tell you if you are off route?
@Josh-Reid2 ай бұрын
Hi Kevin. Yes I’ll be doing a more informative video on the Dura.

Hi Josh looking at a hydration pack for gravel, endurance rides etc would you say the restrap is any better realistically than the uswe version?
@Josh-Reid2 ай бұрын
I can’t comment on the uswe pack apart from what I can see as I’ve never used it. It looks like it would be great if you want something pretty basic and as an aero pack. However, I’ve had lots of use from the Restrap pack and find the amount of pockets on the shoulder straps really useful. The phone pocket in particular which fits my iPhone pro max. The storage in the back is also very spacious for stashing layers. Another plus would be they’re made in Yorkshire which is a pretty local to me.
@MatthiasSpohr-x3r2 ай бұрын
@@Josh-Reid thanks, I've got a couple of restrap frame bags, just comparing the initial outlay, there are a lot more pockets on the restrap,do you use the original bladder?
@Josh-Reid2 ай бұрын
@@MatthiasSpohr-x3r I’ve used a prototype bladder which is slightly different.
@MatthiasSpohr-x3r2 ай бұрын
@@Josh-Reid pretty much sold on the restrap one now, I did glorious gravel Dorset epic ride on Saturday and got well bored with cleaning bidons bite valves when they were plastered in mud
