They wanted to be edgy with TLJ, but forgot you can't be edgy when you fully adhere to the accepted narrative and current social norms being pushed. Edgy would have been : - Luke actually mentors Rey. - Rey actually fails terribly at something and learns from it. - Rey ends up the villain and not a sympathetic one either. - Luke Skywalker ( a white man ) saves the day. - Captain Holdo was secretly a traitor. Explaining her behavior. - Finn, a man, trains with Rey and consistantly bests her causing her to turn to the dark side out of jealousy and ego. - Actually giving us the Luke Skywalker we remember, one of our old time and beloved heroes that happens to be a white man and not have him bested by a female replacement in the age where this is the most tiresome cliché. That would have been the most edgy thing. - Have Po Dameron successfully take over control from Holdo and his plan ending up better than hers and saving everyone. Edgy means risking offending people current day norms deem must not be offended. So if you are not offending feminists or the LGBTQ, you can't be edgy. You're being as safe as you can be. It's like saying that rapping about going to the club is edgy when it's literally the norm.

Me watching this video knowing why Zaid deleted his channel is creeping me out. Like, just because he deleted his main social media accounts doesn't mean that he lost the ability to make alts. I know that Zaid never wanted to delete his mains, but because he deleted them he has effectively turned himself into an internet boogyman. He is now able to make several online aliases to make and switch between and even replace them with new 1s if those previous aliases become comprimised. And because Zaid is no longer a public figure it's a lot harder for people to figure out that all these accounts are opperated by the same person and that Zaid is the mastermind. And given the fact Zaid made insane overt death threats like "I hope you fall victim to cartel violance" and truely believe that should be given a restraining order from accessing the internet for terrorizing social media users. I hope his parents are able to supervise is every move, because he's really freaking me the fuck out.

Personally, I don't know much about Zaid, although I did enjoy his roast of Lilly Orchard and wish it was still around but it most likely got deleted after the first time he deleted his channel. I've only seen Last Jedi once and at first I thought it was alright then I thought about it and heard the arguments going against it and...yep, it's a terrible movie. I wouldn't say it's the worst movie in cinema, I still maintain the likes of Food Fight or Turning Red is worse. (By the way, to date, I haven't finished Turning Red, it was way too cringey for me.) Yes, the Hyperspace ram is stupid, but Han said that meticulous calculations have to be made by the Falcon’s nav computer before the series’ first ever hyperspace jump. Frankly I think Zaid needs to stay gone, not just for the sake of the people he's been harassing on alts with, but also for his. I can understand that there will be people who like things I genuinely despise, whether it's movies or games, but at the end of the day, you can't harass them over that and give them a cold eye for it. As for this, I'm glad that you were able to reupload this video. Not only did I enjoy it as a Star Wars fan, but also just because of how much thought (outside of the Disney jabs) went into going over each problem. Zaid/Pony was a great reviewer. As for those who say he couldn’t stand people who had different opinions, let me point out one thing: the media lied about everyone who hated TLJ and called them bigots, racists, sexists, etc. and you all were pleased as punch to sit there and do/say nothing. So check your own aisle before you bash on him for not liking the other side. This film literally ignited a culture war, fueled by endless lies by the media and the producers of the content, and was the beginning of the end of the Star Wars IP.

Technically in Mass Effect they could use FTL as a weapon due to the mass relays. They were used in the guns in ME1. It's always funny when people point Anakin in the Phantom Menace to claim he's a Mary Sue. The Phantom Menace is the most ridiculed movie of the pequels because of how Anakin is portayed which is something that was fixed in the later movies. Nobody liked Anakin in the Phantom Menace. I think it would've been interesting if the scene of Luke attacking Ben was a hallucination sent by Snoke (or whomever) to distort events. Luke sensing the Dark Side goes to check on Ben. Ben wakes up under the influence of the Sith sees Luke as about to attack him and lashes out, then, driven by this hallucination proceeds to attack and kill the other students and destroy the academy.

Honestly of they want to see how to write atrong female characters they need to look at Inuyasha. Kagome, Songo and even Kagura are incredibly well written, powerful women that aren't Mary Sue and even get to be feminine and beautiful as well as brutal, vicious and bad ass. They aren't poweeful because they are women or anything stupid like that, and they have real personalities. Toph and Katara are another xouple amazing female characters that make Rey look like the paper thin cardboard cutout self insert for K.Kennedy she is.

As much as I would like to say stuff like, “Zaid is still kinda cool as a reviewer,” his last goodbye wasn’t at all good. But, I did like the Nostalgia Critic reviews (although not as much anymore), this review, and the Cuties review he made (mainly because he exposed a person he liked, proving he wasn’t biased on some level). I can attest to the last part. At some point, I did have respect and looked up to a person that used to be on this channel (he was an editor. You can take a guess from there).

Him flat out encouraging a witch hunt on his Cuties video was the final straw for me. I’m not defending a disgusting piece of garbage like that movie, but what he was doing and encouraging his fans to do was not cool. He listed every name in the comments section like a hit list. He even harassed someone who he thought was some gross adult man defending the movie when it turned out to be a little girl which caused him to be banned from Twitter and he refused to take responsibility or even mention that part in his follow up video and instead chose to put the blame on Twitter acting like they’re protecting pedophiles or something when that’s not the case there. Regardless of how awful the movie is, he’s supposed to set a good example and be better, not worse by using the video as an excuse to attack people (which is completely in character for him and only got worse as time went on).

Even Cartoonshi in his video briefly pointed out how messed up it is that Zaid had an entire list of various online strangers basically encouraging a harassment campaign which, as I've stated, was completely unnecessary and should've focused talking about the film itself and the people who made it. Plus if you did research, this is just another star wars situation with him where he attacks anyone who says anything that disagrees with him, including people who flat out state that they aren't defending the film, just his messed up and toxic attempt at a harassment campaign acting as if literally _everyone_ who says anything against him regarding the movie is a pedophile when that's not true, including random names of strangers he found online. One of those, as I've said, turned out to be a female minor whom he harassed on twitter assuming it was another ugly, perverted man which got him banned from Twitter and he refuses to take responsibility, never mentions that part and instead plays the victim card.

Disagree about Finn. He's a disaffected stormtrooper who's had enough of killing, so right off the bat he's blowing away his old stormtrooper buddies in the hanger bay. He goes from a brainwashed soldier to "oh look, I found my humanity" comedy relief in about 15 minutes. Cool concept, terrible execution.
