Clickers can use echolocation so if you are the direction of a clicker's scream you will be essentially spotted.

@@arianagrace6202 Nora didn’t tell her that, Ellie figured that out herself when Nora said “You’re her” about Ellie breathing spores and when she said “think about what he [Joel] did, how many people are dead because of him.” Ellie already knew about what Joel did to save her, so she assumed that they killed him because he stopped the cure from being made. Her telling Jesse that Joel had a “falling out with the fireflies” is sugar coating it, to put it lightly, she leaves out his killing spree to save her and stopping the cure from being made.

Watching Julien play has been more fun than when I played the game myself, I love that he appreciates the game’s little details and nuanced story. It makes for a surprisingly wholesome playthrough for such a dark game. Also RIP Jesse, I really liked him and he deserved better.

I really, really do hope he gives Abby's playthrough a chance. It honestly saddens me to see so many people abandon the game because of it. There is SO MUCH to learn from playing as her, and the fact so many gamers were actually so....idk, I want to say childish but idk if this is the correct word, about it was honestly so disappointing and frustrating. So yeah, I hope he can keep going with an open mind and hopefully understand why that choice was made.

50:15 I think it's a second stage infected, right after runners. Then they become clickers, then bloaters (or shamblers). Stalkers don't attack right away, they lurk and wait for a perfect time to attack, hence the name. They can see and hear you, are as fast as runners and as strong as clickers. They only have one eye left to see and have the early stages of fungal growth on them. Fire is usually the best weapon for the 2nd stage infected and everything after that so, molotovs, flamethrowers & bombs are a way to go. Bullets & arrows are pretty useless on the tough layers on bloaters for example. It's the best to burn them first and then fire away if you don't have any flame left. Shotguns help out a lot too. edit: 51:15 you have actually, in the first game, the part with Henry and Sam, in the sewage system. Some of the infected there were stalkers, they look a bit more blue than other infected.

Honestly, I found myself enjoying Abby’s story far more than Ellie’s while playing, it reminded me of the first game. I think it’s just hard separating her from the actions we’ve seen of her. However, to put it in perspective, Ellie throughout the whole game says that Joel and Tommy did terrible things, probably just as bad as Abby. We just never fully saw them or were attached to those people that were on the receiving end of their actions. Very thought provoking. I think raises a lot of questions about empathy

Yeah when they stop and do that scream thing at you, they can “see” you. Julien doesn’t seem to know that. Whenever a clicker screams at him and he gets the alerted noise, he assumes it’s cuz some other enemy saw him.

Small spoiler warning: Hearing the Seraphites use Lev's deadname and misgender him is so ugh, but I do like the detail of it. It's a religious cult that is obviously against that kind of thing, considering they tried to kill him over it, so of course they would refuse to acknowledge who he is. I get why that detail caused a lot of controversy, being a trans guy myself it's uncomfortable to listen to because I know what that's like, but it makes me feel more connected to him despite him not being real, if that makes sense. Lev's my favorite character in the game because of how real he is, and I truly hope he returns in the 3rd game.

I would have never thought to use perfect timing and the ramp to get the dumpster under the gate (around the 44 min mark) and julen figures it out in 2.4 seconds.

You actually don’t have to time it perfectly, as long as you run over to the chain and start to pull (I.e. don’t take forever about it) the game holds off the dumpster rolling through animation until the door is up. It’s just designed so well that it feels like you, the player, timed it perfectly.

Ellie insists on continuing on to the aquarium by saying that Tommy will be heading there because Abby is supposed to be there (you can draw your own conclusions but I assumed Ellie really wanted to go for Abby so she didn't want to change tracks)
