I wonder if part of the reason no one would die is because they're all exhausted and constantly passing out all the time. They won't do certain things when they're that tired, and their actions keep getting interrupted by passing out so they don't have "time" to behave erratically?

Putting wood floors into that house would have lit it up like a Christmas tree with all of the fire hazards. Wood floors increase the fire hazard, while stone/concrete and metal floors are supposed to protect against fires. Not always foolproof though!

I got all excited when I saw your challenge and set my own asylum up similarly but it seems like despite making some of the most erratic, paranoid, romantic, loner, snobby people they have gotten along wonderfully and it's th easiest household I've ever had. usually I play individual sims, occasionally two but I thought this would be an enormous challenge for me. As long as you stick with the rules and play one sim only it's pretty easy. They all had a fire scare in the first few days so now nobody ants to be near it but other than that everyone gets along fine and someone's always made a family size salad sittin gon the counter.
