I can't tell you how happy I was to see Rutina Wesley. She's got such a warm screen presence.

the 2 native americans in the beginning were so funny LMAOO i knew the accent as SOON as i heard the lady in the chair. I need to see more of them, but actually.. maybe not since everyone they get to close to, die ... maybe let's just leave these 2 alone 😒😒😭😭

Meeka, those menstrual cups came out in the 1930s, but not in America until 1987. So no continuity error this time! 😂
@ShantalhaitianPrincess Жыл бұрын
yeah I think she knows what they are but diva cups are main stream name for them here like qtips. Any who I also never saw them at any stores in the US till recently

@@ShantalhaitianPrincess people did some googling and apparently diva cups came out in 03. Still no error haha. But I wonder, plastic decomposing? Is there a kind that lasts or did they all have expiring date, especially made back then when we didn't care/know about stuff like that?
@ManicMeeks Жыл бұрын
I googled that on camera too. but if they just came out in 03, I feel like there is no way they were distributed EVERYWHERE before the apocolpytico started.

My only complaint about this episode was the Maria is pregnant part. Only because, realistically speaking, she's likely late 40s to early 50s. So a pregnancy would be possible, but extremely dangerous in a post apocalyptic story.
@technopirate304 Жыл бұрын
Exactly! She was an Assistant District Attorney and a mom in Omaha when the Outbreak happened. That would have put her easily into her late twenties and early thirties before SHTF.
@Drummer4President Жыл бұрын
It’s pretty realistic tho. Not like they have any reliable protection after 20 years. Or any morning after pills 🤷🏼
@AmyL._orcgirl Жыл бұрын
@@Drummer4President i don't disagree. But the likelihood of her surviving the pregnancy or even the birth are incredibly low at her age and due to all the circumstances. Tommy is likely to end up a single dad, if the baby survives.
@ShantalhaitianPrincess Жыл бұрын
people in other countries getting pregnant around that age and older every day lol my mom and 9 aunts all had kids in their late 40s early 50s all are still here but yes it is dangerous but all births are
@AmyL._orcgirl Жыл бұрын
@@ShantalhaitianPrincess yes, but you're thinking of people who have access to adequate health care. In this apocalypse, do they have meds to treat pre-eclampsia? Diagnose it? Deliver a premature baby or one that has complications? Do they have a doctor a vet or a midwife? Even in an ideal situation, a woman is considered high risk over the age of 35. And that's with most advantages. In this story, we have to think they don't have very many advantages and probably a whole lot of disadvantages.

You say you are tech support and you hate people. I have been working different forms of customer service / technical support for the past 25 years. When people hear something and say "People can't be that stupid" I always say "1 year in customer service will prove you wrong"

I don't really hate people. I hate STUPID. It's a special blend of calling for help and then not listening to us help. Working for the state patrol is a whole other brand of WHY, WHY?!

Nope. I don’t like Tommy’s wife, Maria👎🏽. Her hating on Joel is unfounded. Especially when you consider her group is dropping bodies in the “River of Death” to warn outsiders to stay away. Joel did what he needed to do to survive; this group in Jackson are doing the same thing. 🤷🏽♀️

Tommy didn’t follow, cause he’s a selfish as* (if you played both games you know what I’m talking about)

Yeah, Tommy in the first episode tells Joel “This time it’s not my fault” when asking him to bail him out of jail.
