Banks are not going to give a loan on a car marked upand insurance is not going to insure them.I got a kona N for msrp--paid with a check after overhearing a sales manager say that 3 folks tried to buy it with a 5k markup and then he tried it withme and I told him I had overheard what he said--i wrote one check for the msrp and told him they can call me into financing to sign the paperwork for the title or shred the check.

2018 scats with low miles are 20k on used market. no one wants a car that will get stolen and was slow to begin with. specially not for 69k. and there is no difference from a 2023 and a 2018 mopar. and you can just engine swap a v6. the fuckin widebody kit is 1500 lmao and they charging 10k+ just for a widebody. i can build a widebody hellcat right now with less than 30k. get a loaded v6 from copart for 5k with a lil damage. get hellcat engine 10k. widebody kit and other parts needed for extra 10k save 5k for labor. done.

After interest and taxes thats about a price of 130,000$ Canadian for a scatpack... like what. who tf is paying all that for a SCAT.. You'd literally have to be braindead. Interest is so high rn too. Even with great credit your still getting 8,9% at the dealer adding a nice 20k-30k onto of what your paying if you finance it for 5-7 years. Absolutely insane. Not worth it

I spoke with a rep for dodge and they said that the demo or loaner vehicles are because Stellantis gives discounts for those vehicles not new ones. So they would have the employees drive the new cars around a couple hundred miles so they qualify for the discounts.

From what I have read not only is the discounting different for "demo" or "loaner" cars but the dealerships can also do some funky math with their inventory numbers on their floor plans. There are definitely some games being played to make things look better on their bottom line.

Dealers need to smarten up. It's a "No Brainer". If they are not moving and just sitting on the lot collecting dust. Then start dropping sticker prices and make some deals to get these cars moved off the lot. Instead of making a ton of money from inflated pricing, share the wealth and give customers a good deal, and take a little less. It's a Win, Win, for both sides.

Demonstration means the dealer has used the car as a "demo or a loaner", people drove it around. TK also had in one of his videos. Stellantis has been trying to get dealers to "buy" some of these vehicles to use as thier loaners, to "show" that they sold more vehicles than they actually have. I believe this also means if the vehicle has been on the lot more than a year, techinically they can no longer sell it as a "new car".

If I were a serious prospective buyer of one of these cars, I'd ask the dealer to show me their INVOICE as proof of what THEY PAID for the car and negotiate FROM THE INVOICE PRICE UP; NOT FROM THE MSRP DOWN 👇 💰💲💸! This is how I've purchased cars over the years, PLUS TT&L to arrive at the OUT THE DOOR PRICE 💸💲! I've NEVER paid MSRP or anything close to it or over it on any car purchase. If the dealer(s) are serious about moving this new/old inventory out, they need to get real about pricing. Otherwise, they can the Mexican Cartels, Middle Eastern Countries, and Wealthy African nations because they have an interest in fast American cars 💲🤣. Last Call Scat Packs at 7500 below MSRP at my local dealer. They don't have any HC's but if you look online the NB's are up to 5K below MSRP. Go to Bring a Trailer and you will find WBHC's below MSRP and WBNCRE's around MSRP plus the 5% buyers fee. Prices have collapsed - some dealers just don't get it. At some point they will cut the price or the foor plan interest company will come knocking and take the inventorry. That's the good news. The bad news is the thousasnds of Jeeps that have been sitting for up to 2 years. Can't give them away. And then the Hornet. It's like a nightmare that won't end. If you work there you better have an exit strategy.
